The description should link to your music on every platform where it is available: Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, your own website. Do not force listeners to search for your music; give them a one-click path to buy it, add it to their library, or save it.

Engagement: Chat Moderation and Interaction
A 24-hour live stream will attract comments. Some creators keep live chat enabled; others pre-moderate or disable it. If your stream will attract your core fanbase (not strangers), live chat can be valuable. Fans will celebrate the album drop together, discuss their favorite tracks, and share their reactions.

Data to Track During Release
Monitor your stream stats obsessively during the first 72 hours. YouTube Studio shows live viewer count, average view duration, and engagement (clicks, likes, comments). If your stream drops below 10 concurrent viewers during primetime, something is wrong with your promotion. Dig into that: Did your social posts land? Did you reach your email list?
Correlate your YouTube stream views with first-week streaming numbers on Spotify and other platforms.
