For Cyber Monday on December 1, 2025, the AirPods Pro 2 with a USB-C MagSafe Charging Case were reported at Walmart for $139, down $100 from the $239 price cited in the deal coverage. That was a substantial discount, but not quite half off: it works out to about 42% below $239. The offer is historical, not a current price. Lifehacker’s deal report called it an all-time low; that description is attributable to the publication, not an independently verified market-wide price history.
What was the Cyber Monday AirPods Pro 2 deal?
The reported offer was for Apple AirPods Pro 2 with the USB-C MagSafe Charging Case at Walmart on December 1, 2025. Lifehacker listed the deal at $139, a $100 reduction from its cited $239 reference price. Apple’s product page lists the model at $249, so the apparent savings depend on which reference price is used. The deal report warned that price and inventory could change; it should not be treated as available now. Apple’s AirPods Pro 2 page is a product and pricing reference, not confirmation that the Walmart deal remains active.

This was the Pro 2, not the AirPods Pro 3, AirPods Pro 1, or AirPods 4 with ANC. The Pro 2 was a previous-generation model by the 2025 holiday season, after the newer Pro generation became available.
Was it really nearly half off?
The phrase is reasonable as promotional shorthand, but the arithmetic falls short of 50%:

| Reference price | Calculation | Discount |
|---|---|---|
| $239, the deal coverage’s cited price | ($239 − $139) ÷ $239 | About 41.8% off |
| $249, the price listed on Apple’s product page | ($249 − $139) ÷ $249 | About 44.2% off |
| $249, Apple’s listed price | $139 ÷ $249 | $139 was about 55.8% of that price |
In other words, $139 was roughly 42% to 44% below the commonly cited $239–$249 prices—close to half off, but not literally 50%. A mirrored headline described the deal as 46% off, but that figure does not follow precisely from the reported $139 price and either cited reference price. The mirrored headline should not be confused with the calculation based on the published prices.
What did the AirPods Pro 2 include?
At the time of the deal, the Pro 2 offered a broad feature set that remained relevant even as a previous-generation product. Apple lists an H2 chip, Active Noise Cancellation, Transparency mode, Adaptive Audio, Conversation Awareness, and Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking. The USB-C MagSafe case includes Find My support and a speaker; the earbuds and case carry an IP54 dust, sweat, and water-resistance rating. IP54 is not waterproofing and does not make submersion safe.

- This pre-owned product is not Apple certified, but has been professionally inspected, tested and cleaned by Amazon-qualified suppliers.
- Battery estimates: Apple specifies up to six hours of listening per charge with ANC enabled and up to 30 hours with the case. These are estimates; actual runtime varies with volume, calls, environmental conditions, ANC, and other feature use.
- Fit: Four silicone tip sizes—XS, S, M, and L—allow a sealed in-ear fit. A proper seal matters for comfort and noise isolation.
- Apple ecosystem: The product integrates with Apple devices and Find My. Buyers should check Apple’s AirPods comparison page for current model distinctions rather than assuming every feature is identical across generations.
Apple’s specifications and feature descriptions are available on its AirPods Pro 2 technical support page.
How should you weigh Pro 2 against Pro 3?
The Pro 2’s historical $139 price made it compelling for someone who wanted the Pro-style sealed fit, ANC, Transparency, USB-C charging, and hearing-health functions at a steep discount. The trade-off was buying an older generation rather than the current Pro model. A newer model may offer a longer remaining software-support runway and newer capabilities, but the available deal figures do not establish exact performance differences between Pro 2 and Pro 3.
Rank #3
- Active Noise Cancellation reduces unwanted background noise
- Adaptive Transparency lets outside sounds in while reducing loud environmental noise
- Personalized Spatial Audio with dynamic head tracking places sound all around you
- Multiple ear tips (XS, S, M, L)
- Touch control lets you swipe to adjust volume, press to direct media playback, answer or end calls, and press and hold to switch between listening modes
Use Apple’s comparison tool to check current model features, and compare the price you can actually buy today—not the expired 2025 deal. If the Pro 2 is only slightly cheaper than Pro 3, the newer model may make more sense for a buyer prioritizing the latest generation. If the price gap is large and the Pro 2 meets your fit and feature needs, the older model can still be the better value.
How did it compare with AirPods 4 with ANC?
A separate Cyber Monday 2025 deal put AirPods 4 with ANC at $99 against a cited $179 MSRP, according to Macworld’s report. That was a different product and a different offer.

- MAGICAL EXPERIENCE — Just say “Siri” or “Hey Siri” to play a song, make a call, or check your schedule.* And with Siri Interactions, now you can respond to Siri by simply nodding your head yes or shaking your head no.* Pair AirPods 4 by simply placing them near your device and tapping Connect on your screen.* Easily share a song or show between two sets of AirPods.* An optical in-ear sensor knows to play audio only when you’re wearing AirPods and pauses when you take them off. And you can track down your AirPods and Charging Case with the Find My app.*
- LONG BATTERY LIFE — Get up to 5 hours of listening time on a single charge. And get up to 30 hours of total listening time using the case.*
| Model or offer | Historical Cyber Monday price | Fit and decision point |
|---|---|---|
| AirPods Pro 2 with USB-C MagSafe case | $139 at Walmart, reported December 1, 2025 | Silicone-tip, sealed in-ear design; suited to buyers prioritizing the Pro feature set and a customizable fit. |
| AirPods 4 with ANC | $99 versus a cited $179 MSRP | Open design without silicone tips; suited to buyers who dislike sealed earbuds and want a lower historical price. |
The AirPods 4 with ANC cost less in that reported sale, while the Pro 2’s sealed fit and feature set may suit different needs, including users seeking more isolation and Apple’s hearing-health functions. Neither design is automatically better: fit preference can decide the purchase.

Apple lists Hearing Test, Hearing Aid, and Hearing Protection features for AirPods Pro 2. Apple describes the Hearing Aid feature for people with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss and notes FDA authorization. That does not make the earbuds a universal substitute for prescription hearing aids or a clinical evaluation. Feature availability and operation depend on country, regulatory authorization, compatible Apple hardware, software, and firmware; check Apple’s current requirements before relying on a feature.
Hearing Protection also depends on a proper fit. Apple’s hearing-protection data sheet warns that improper fit reduces effectiveness. If you have hearing concerns, use the feature within its stated scope and seek professional care when appropriate.
What to check before buying a similar AirPods deal
- Verify the exact model. The listing should say AirPods Pro 2, not AirPods 4, AirPods Pro 1, or a charging case sold on its own.
- Check the case version. Confirm that it includes the USB-C MagSafe Charging Case if that is the version you want.
- Identify the seller. A Walmart page can include third-party marketplace listings; check whether Walmart itself or another seller is fulfilling the order.
- Confirm condition and protections. Look for new versus refurbished or open-box condition, return terms, and warranty eligibility.
- Judge the price against recent selling prices. A manufacturer’s listed price may not reflect the usual street price, and a historic deal is not evidence of a current discount.
- Check regional feature access. Confirm Hearing Test and Hearing Aid availability for your location and compatible devices.
- Review fulfillment details. Check stock, color, delivery or pickup date, and what accessories are included.
- Use a seller you trust. Be cautious with unusually cheap listings from unknown marketplace sellers, where authenticity, seals, returns, and warranty support may be harder to verify.
For a new purchase, compare current listings for AirPods Pro 2 at Walmart, AirPods Pro 2 at Amazon, and AirPods Pro 2 at Best Buy, checking the seller and condition on each listing. Apple also offers a refurbished AirPods Pro 2 listing; verify its current price, condition, and warranty terms before comparing it with new inventory.
