The confirmed options vary by airline, country, checkout channel and lender approval; some are live, while others are announced or need a fresh checkout check. Here are the supported options—and how to tell airline checkout financing from a third-party booking service.
Which airlines have a supported pay-later option?
“Pay later” can mean a short installment plan, a longer loan, or a fixed-fee payment plan attached to an eligible credit card. It is not necessarily an airline-funded benefit. In the examples below, the provider’s terms, eligibility rules and the itinerary’s checkout screen determine whether you can use the option.

Why this is not a verified list of 15 airlines
The available evidence supports several distinct arrangements, but not 15 current airline-specific programs. A flight appearing on a booking platform that offers installments does not mean the airline itself offers pay-later checkout. Likewise, an old announcement or a planned rollout is not proof that financing is currently available for a particular flight.
American Airlines is an example of why the distinction matters: Affirm announced in October 2021 that approved customers could split eligible AA.com airfare over $50 into monthly payments. That announcement is historical, and current availability has not been established. It is not enough to list American as a current pay-later option. Affirm’s announcement.

Porter Airlines has surfaced in search results with a page describing monthly payments through Flex Pay, but the page could not be accessed to verify its details. That does not establish a current offer.
Airline checkout versus a booking platform
A third-party platform may sell tickets on hundreds of airlines and offer its own payment arrangements. Laters.com, for example, says it supports pay-later bookings across 650+ airlines. That is a platform-level claim, not evidence that each airline has a direct pay-later program. Its country and provider details were reported as last verified August 6, 2026. At direct airline checkout, the airline may display a lender’s financing option or a card issuer’s payment plan. The provider—not the airline—may decide approval, APR, repayment schedule and state or country eligibility. These arrangements can be useful, but “pay later” does not mean free or costless.
How to decide whether an offer is worth using
- Confirm the channel. Check whether the option appears on the airline’s own website or app, or only on a third-party booking site. The provider and cancellation process may differ.
- Check your location and eligibility. Review residency restrictions, required card or account, purchase minimum and lender approval rules for your state or country.
- Compare total cost. Look at APR, fixed monthly fees, number and amount of payments, and the total repayment—not just the installment amount or “interest-free” wording. Confirm any promotional rate’s end date and qualifying term.
- Read both sets of terms before paying. The airline’s ticket, change and cancellation rules govern the booking; the lender or card issuer’s agreement governs the payment plan. The available announcements do not establish uniform handling of a canceled or changed flight across providers, so check how a refund or credit affects what you still owe.
- Verify at checkout. Airline partnerships can be phased by market, carrier or itinerary. Do not rely on an old announcement or a general platform claim if the payment method is not shown for your specific booking.
Can you fly before you finish paying?
With an approved financing plan or installment option, the booking may be ticketed before the installments are fully repaid—but the precise timing depends on the provider’s terms and the airline’s booking flow. Verify that the ticket is issued and review the payment agreement before assuming you can travel while payments continue.
