The plans included new seasonal routes, returning nonstops, added Prague flights and year-round service changes. Air Canada said schedules were subject to change, so these announcements do not establish current availability or confirm that every flight operated as planned.
Routes in Air Canada’s September 2025 announcement
The September 10 announcement covered services planned from Montréal, Toronto and Vancouver. The dates and frequencies below refer to announced outbound schedules; return flights may have different operating days or date ranges.

Air Canada described the Shanghai service as starting June 3 and year-round, with four weekly outbound flights at launch. The release listed three weekly Vancouver departures to Bangkok and said the route would operate year-round. Air Canada did not provide peak-period dates for the additional Prague flight in the announcement text.
Air Canada’s September 10, 2025 announcement gives the planned service details and notes that schedules may change.

Routes added in the November 2025 follow-up
On November 25, Air Canada announced four more European routes and said it would resume seasonal Montréal–Tel Aviv service. Each of the four additions was announced at three flights weekly.

The dates in the table are the announced outbound windows; return dates differed. These were published plans, not a live schedule check. Air Canada’s November 25, 2025 announcement describes the additions and its aircraft details.

How to read the route announcements
- New destinations: Montréal gained planned seasonal service to Catania, Palma de Mallorca, Berlin and Nantes; Halifax to Brussels; and Toronto to Ponta Delgada.
- Returning or resuming service: Toronto–Budapest and Toronto–Shanghai were announced as returning nonstop routes, while Montréal–Tel Aviv was set to resume seasonally.
- More flights, not a new destination: Toronto–Prague was scheduled to receive one extra peak-period flight, for four weekly flights total.
- Service-pattern change: Vancouver–Bangkok was planned to move from seasonal to year-round service.
The announcements should not be read as confirmation of present-day inventory, fares or unchanged operations. Check Air Canada’s current schedule and booking channels for the status of a specific travel date.

In its November release, Air Canada said it expected to connect Canada to more than 126 global destinations and offer up to 155,000 weekly seats across the Atlantic, Pacific and South America in Summer 2026. Those are airline forecasts for the wider network, not seat counts or destination totals for the routes listed above, and they are not measured operating results.

Air Canada’s corporate profile later listed 38 new routes announced in 2026, spanning additional origins, destinations and service types.
