Where to check the current NORCET application dates
AIIMS currently lists NORCET-11 under Notice No. 103/2026, but the available listing does not establish its full schedule. Check the AIIMS examination portal for the current detailed advertisement and any corrections, addenda or updates. AIIMS says examination and institute or hospital allocation notices are posted on its website. Confirm the active cycle’s dates and eligibility in that notice before applying; NORCET-6 information should not be assumed to apply to NORCET-11. AIIMS notices and updates
How the NORCET-6 exam was structured
The 2024 detailed notice described a two-stage examination. Its Stage I rules are historical and should not be treated as rules for a later cycle unless that cycle’s advertisement confirms them.

Stage I: qualifying test
For NORCET-6, Stage I was a 90-minute computer-based test with 100 multiple-choice questions for 100 marks. The notice specified a deduction of one-third mark for each wrong answer. Stage I was qualifying only; it was not used to determine final selection merit or rank. AIIMS NORCET-6 detailed notice
Stage II
The dates notice scheduled Stage II for May 5, 2024. Refer to the detailed notice for the rules that governed the 2024 cycle; the current cycle’s advertisement is the authority for its own exam format and selection process.
