Which memory types matter—and what is not established
LPDDR is a category to watch
The report identifies low-power DRAM, particularly LPDDR, as relevant because energy efficiency matters in robots. Samsung describes its LPDDR5 family as low-power DRAM for mobile and automotive devices. HBM is part of the broader AI-memory story, not a confirmed robot standard
High-bandwidth memory (HBM) is important to the broader AI-memory market, but the sources cited here do not establish that humanoid robots will use HBM as a standard configuration. A robot-related DRAM opportunity should therefore not be equated with an HBM sales forecast.
