There is no confirmation in the available reporting that AEW is currently negotiating a TV deal with FOX. The reports of contact date to September 2024, and they did not establish a signed agreement. AEW’s publicly listed weekly shows remain on TBS, TNT and Max; whether any private FOX discussions are happening now is unresolved.
What did the FOX report actually say?
In September 2024, Fightful reported that a source close to FOX said the parties had been in contact. The report also said neither AEW nor FOX had confirmed talks, and FOX representatives had not responded to requests for comment. Contact, as reported by an unnamed source, is not evidence that negotiations produced an agreement.
The same report discussed possible FOX-family outlets and a potential AEW program called Shockwave, but presented those details as unconfirmed. On September 12, 2024, WrestleTalk, citing Dave Meltzer on Wrestling Observer Radio, reported that a FOX deal was “not done.” Neither account establishes that FOX agreed to air a show.
Is the report new?
The cited FOX-contact reporting is from 2024, not a new announcement. The sources reviewed do not confirm current AEW–FOX negotiations as of October 7, 2026. Private discussions cannot be ruled out, but the old reports do not establish that they are happening now.

Where are AEW’s weekly shows currently listed?
AEW’s October 2, 2024 announcement of a multi-year renewal with Warner Bros. Discovery said Dynamite would remain on TBS and Collision on TNT, with live U.S. Max simulcasts beginning in January 2025. The announcement described WBD platforms as the exclusive home of those shows and also referred generally to the possibility of additional programming on linear and digital platforms; it did not name FOX or confirm a FOX arrangement. Read AEW’s announcement.
AEW’s official About page, checked October 7, 2026, lists Dynamite on Wednesdays on TBS and Max, and Collision on Saturdays on TNT and Max. Separately, POST Wrestling’s September 24, 2026 account of Tony Khan’s media call described his positive comments about AEW’s WBD television commitment and its TBS, TNT and HBO Max distribution. That is context about the existing relationship, not evidence for or against current FOX talks: POST Wrestling’s account.

What would confirm a future FOX deal?
A confirmed arrangement would need more than a report of contact or speculation about a possible show. An official statement or reliable new reporting would need to clarify what FOX outlet is involved, whether the programming is a new show or an existing AEW program, and how it fits with WBD rights. Viewers would also need details such as geography, schedule, live or delayed availability, and any exclusivity or overlap. None of those terms is established for a FOX deal in the cited reporting.
