For the 2026–27 season, SalaryLeaks and Capology each estimate his pay at £25,000 a week, but those figures are third-party estimates—not confirmed contract terms.
What is Adam Idah’s estimated weekly wage at Swansea City?
Both SalaryLeaks and Capology put Idah’s estimated 2026–27 wage at £25,000 per week. Capology describes its figure as an estimated fixed gross salary, excluding bonuses, and gives an annual equivalent of £1.3 million. Capology cautions that its salary figures are estimates, not official disclosures. SalaryLeaks’ Swansea City listing was marked updated 24 September 2026; Capology’s Swansea City salary page also gives the 2026–27 estimate.

The agreement between the databases makes £25,000 a useful reported estimate, but it does not make the amount an established contractual wage. Swansea City has not published Idah’s pay.
What has Swansea City confirmed?
When Swansea announced Idah’s arrival from Celtic on 1 September 2025, it said the transfer was for “a significant undisclosed fee” and that he had signed a five-year contract. The announcement did not state his weekly wage, annual salary, bonuses or take-home pay. Swansea City’s announcement is the primary source for those details.

#1 Best Overall
- Inspired by the world's largest soccer matchup, the adidas FIFA World Cup 26 soccer ball pairs design with performance. A seamless TSBE surface enhances touch. The butyl bladder ensures consistent shape retention for every match or practice session.
- TSBE TECHNOLOGY: Seamless surface for better touch and lower water uptake
- KEEPS ITS SHAPE: Butyl bladder for best air retention
- REQUIRES INFLATION: Ships flat, pump not included
- FIFA QUALITY AND OFFICIALLY LICENSED: Officially licensed by FIFA, the ball passed FIFA tests on circumference, weight, rebound and water absorption
Swansea’s 2026 retained list includes Idah among the players kept for the coming season. That confirms his inclusion on the club’s retained list, not the amount of his salary. The club’s retained-list announcement does not publish his pay.
Why do some reports give a different figure?
SalaryLeaks’ archived 2025–26 listing estimated Idah’s wage at £40,000 per week, compared with its £25,000 estimate for 2026–27. These are estimates for different seasons from the same database, not evidence that his contractual wage fell. The available sources do not establish whether the difference reflects a change in the estimate, different assumptions or a change in pay. SalaryLeaks’ listing is the source for the 2026–27 figure; its archived 2025–26 entry gives the earlier estimate.

| 2026–27 | Capology, accessed 2026 | £25,000 per week; £1.3 million per year | Estimated fixed gross salary, excluding bonuses; not official. |
| 2025–26 | SalaryLeaks, listing updated 17 June 2026 | £40,000 per week | Prior-season database estimate; not proof of a contractual pay cut. |
What the estimates do—and do not—tell you
Weekly wage estimates are not the same as a player’s confirmed contract or net income. Capology labels its 2026–27 number as fixed gross salary and excludes bonuses; the sources do not establish Idah’s bonus structure, tax position, deductions or take-home pay. Swansea’s five-year contract announcement confirms the contract length, but does not provide those financial terms.
For a careful summary, the supported wording is: SalaryLeaks and Capology estimate Idah’s Swansea City wage at £25,000 per week for 2026–27. His actual contractual pay has not been publicly confirmed by the club.
