In a June 2024 interview, Chris Hemsworth named a Ford F-150, a Toyota Land Cruiser and a Dodge Ram Rebel among his vehicles. The Ram was his standout: he described gradually converting it into a self-sufficient camping rig. These are interview-era statements, not a verified or complete inventory of his current vehicles.
Which cars did Chris Hemsworth say he had?
Asked about his cars by Emanuele Bigi of La Gazzetta dello Sport on June 2, 2024, Hemsworth said he had a Ford F-150 and a Toyota Land Cruiser, and singled out his Dodge Ram Rebel as the vehicle he was especially pleased with. The interview does not identify the F-150 or Land Cruiser’s model years or trims, or establish how long he had owned them. Read the interview at La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Ford F-150
Hemsworth said he used the F-150 for outings and camping near the beach, and that he had just begun driving its electric version. The interview does not clarify whether he meant an electric F-150 he owned, a vehicle he was trying, or another arrangement, so it is safest to treat this as a description of his driving at the time—not proof of a separate electric truck in his collection.
Toyota Land Cruiser
He also named a Land Cruiser as part of the vehicles he used for outdoor trips. The source gives no model year, generation, trim or other details that would identify the particular vehicle.

Hemsworth described the Ram as an evolving camping and utility project. In his account, its equipment included a rooftop tent, 60 liters of water capacity, hose and shower fittings, an induction cooker, a refrigerator, drawers and rooftop solar panels to power the vehicle’s electronics. Those are details of the build he described in the interview, not an independently verified specification sheet or a claim about every Ram Rebel.
In the same interview, Hemsworth said, “Sono soddisfatto delle mie auto, ma specialmente del mio Dodge Ram Rebel.” Translated: “I’m satisfied with my cars, but especially my Dodge Ram Rebel.” The translation is provided here for readers; the interview was conducted in Italian.
How the reported vehicles fit his outdoor use
Hemsworth said he lived near the beach and used the F-150 and Land Cruiser for excursions and camping. He also described taking motorcycles on a trailer for trips into the countryside. The Ram’s tent, water, cooking, refrigeration and solar equipment point to a more purpose-built camping role in his account, rather than simply another vehicle on a list. This is a description of how he characterized the vehicles, not a tested comparison of their capability or suitability.
His first car—and his motorcycles
The Alfa Romeo he remembered
Hemsworth recalled an old Alfa Romeo as his first car. He said its trunk was rusted and that exhaust fumes entered the cabin on long trips. He did not give a model or year, and the anecdote is his recollection—not evidence about the condition or safety of a specific Alfa Romeo model.
Motorcycles, past and present context
Motorcycles are a significant part of the picture. Hemsworth recalled a Yamaha DT 175 among his early bikes. A separate La Gazzetta dello Sport page describes his motorcycle garage as including Harley-Davidson, Aprilia, Ducati and electric Stark bikes, and says he rides on a motocross track at his farm. The page also quotes him describing driving on the Mad Max set as “like being a child again”; that is a comment about the film set, not evidence that he owned its cars. What the older Camaro story does—and does not—show
A 2013 Esquire profile describes a Camaro brought to an interview for Hemsworth to drive as a rental. It is not evidence that the car belonged to him. The profile also quotes him saying he grew up around motorcycles and had not really made the jump to cars at that point. That was an earlier snapshot, more than a decade before his 2024 interview, and does not negate the vehicles he later described. Read the Esquire profile.

What is not established about his collection
The available interviews do not provide an exhaustive, independently verified inventory, a total vehicle count or a valuation. Nor do they establish that cars Hemsworth drove or appeared beside for film roles were personally owned. The most accurate way to describe the collection is as a dated snapshot of the vehicles he discussed in 2024, alongside clearly identified memories of earlier cars and motorcycles—not a definitive account of everything he owns today.
