Walmart’s onn. Google TV Full HD stick was reported at $12.97 in April and May 2025, but that is a historical deal—not a confirmed current price. The Walmart listing checked on October 4, 2026 showed $29.98. Check the listing for today’s price and availability before buying.
What the $12.97 Walmart deal covered
The offer was for the 2023 onn. Google TV Full HD streaming device, not an onn. 4K model. Cord Cutters News reported the $12.97 Walmart price on May 5, 2025: Cord Cutters News’ deal report. 9to5Google also reported the deal on April 15, 2025, describing the price as just over 10% below the then-$15 price; both figures describe that past promotion, not current pricing: 9to5Google’s report.

What the onn. Full HD stick includes
This is a physical HDMI streaming stick for Full HD viewing. Walmart’s listing specifies 1080p (1920 × 1080) output, 8GB of storage, 1.5GB of RAM, dual-band Wi-Fi, HDMI output, and Micro USB power. Walmart’s product copy says, “Full HD 1080p output delivers a clear 1920 x 1080 resolution for supported content viewing.” That is the listing’s description, not an independent performance test.

Is a Full HD stick the right choice?
The main decision is whether Full HD resolution meets your needs. This model is listed for up to 1080p output; if you want 4K viewing, compare it with an onn. 4K device and confirm that the specific model supports your television and the services you use. Walmart’s listing surfaces separate 4K onn. devices, but the available product information does not establish a controlled speed or performance comparison.

- Compact without compromises: The sleek design of Roku Streaming Stick won’t block neighboring HDMI ports, and it even powers from your TV alone, plugging into the back and staying out of sight. No wall outlet, no extra cords, no clutter.
- No more juggling remotes: Power up your TV, adjust the volume, and control your Roku device with one remote. Use your voice to quickly search, play entertainment, and more.
- Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.
- TV, simplified: With setup that only takes minutes, a simple-to-navigate Home Screen, and an uncluttered remote control that does all you need—Roku makes it easier to watch the TV you love.
When comparing options, check the current price and stock alongside resolution, form factor, listed storage and memory, connection and power requirements, remote features, and included accessories. The $12.97 promotion may have made the HD model attractive as a low-cost option at the time, but it does not establish that it is the best value at today’s price.
