The 10th-generation iPad’s live price and stock are also unverified. A current alternative listed in the U.S. is the 11-inch iPad with A16, at $399 from $449; in the U.K., it was listed at £409.97 from £429. Those are October 7 listings, not Black Friday offers. If you are shopping for an Apple Pencil, check compatibility before comparing discounts: the 10th-generation iPad works with Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation), but the first-generation model needs an adapter to pair and charge.

Which Apple Pencil works with the 10th-generation iPad?
Apple lists both Apple Pencil (USB-C) and Apple Pencil (1st generation) as compatible with the iPad (10th generation). Its compatibility guide also lists both for the iPad (A16). Apple Pencil (USB-C)
This is a compatible option for the 10th-generation iPad and iPad (A16). Apple also lists it in its accessory catalog for the 10th-generation iPad. Compare any offer’s model name and compatibility details rather than relying on a generic “Apple Pencil” listing.
Apple Pencil (1st generation)
This model is compatible, but Apple says the USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter is required to pair and charge it with the 10th-generation iPad or iPad (A16). Include the adapter in the total cost and confirm that it is included or available separately. Apple lists both the Pencil and adapter information in its iPad accessories catalog.

How to compare an iPad or Pencil offer
- Match the iPad model. Check the generation or chip designation; the currently listed A16 model is not the 10th-generation iPad.
- Match the configuration. Compare storage and Wi-Fi versus cellular versions. A price for one configuration does not establish the price of another.
- Check the market and seller. Confirm the price in your country, the retailer, the specific seller, current stock, and the checkout total.
- Compare against a dated reference. Treat the October 2026 listings as current snapshots and the 2025 prices as historical offers—not as promised savings or expected Black Friday prices.
- Verify Pencil compatibility and extras. For the 10th-generation iPad or iPad (A16), choose a Pencil model Apple lists as compatible. If buying the first-generation Pencil, account for the required USB-C to Apple Pencil Adapter.
