How to get the $20 Sam’s Club membership
Use Sam’s Club’s Membership Offers page and follow its verification and enrollment instructions. The page advertises $20 for Club or $50 for Plus for verified users, with the offer listed through January 31, 2027. It requires a new membership and does not apply to renewals.
The general offer excludes current members, people whose Sam’s Club membership ended less than six months before joining, and Walmart or Sam’s Club associates. The price and listed deadline are from Sam’s Club’s offer page, accessed October 4, 2026; confirm the checkout terms because promotional details may change.
Who qualifies—and why the verification route matters
Sam’s Club’s general offer exclusions differ from the specific identity-verified offers available through ID.me. Do not assume that meeting one category’s requirements means you qualify under another offer, or that their former-member lookback periods are the same.

Confirm the price shown after verification and before payment. The $20 promotional price is not a universal rate for every applicant.
Club or Plus: which tier fits your shopping?
The promotion makes Plus $30 more than Club for the introductory membership. Whether that extra cost is worthwhile depends on which purchases qualify for rewards and whether you use Plus services. Sam’s Club’s benefits page describes these differences:

Sam’s Club lists a $120 annual Plus fee on its benefits page, but that is separate from the $50 introductory offer and may change. Check the current fee before the promotional term ends. The benefits page describes the 2% reward as applying to qualifying purchases; Sam’s Club’s terms add that conditions and exclusions apply, and returned purchases can reverse rewards. The published materials do not establish typical household savings, so they do not support a universal break-even estimate.

Do not assume the introductory price will carry into another year. Sam’s Club’s Membership Terms and Conditions authorize auto-renewal at the then-current membership price plus applicable taxes. The terms say the charge is made about one day before the membership term ends; the fee can change, and Sam’s Club says it will email members before a charge reflecting a fee change.

- When enrolling, review the membership term, renewal date and payment settings.
- If you do not want auto-renewal, cancel that enrollment separately before the scheduled charge. Sam’s Club states that auto-renewal enrollment and membership cancellation are distinct.
- To cancel the membership itself, the terms say to visit a club or call 1-888-746-7726.
Calendar the renewal date and check the account settings rather than relying on the introductory price to indicate the next year’s charge.
