Plus Wallet, Uniswap Fees and NFTs in Gaming: What Users Should Know

Plus Wallet describes dApp activities such as liquidity provision and NFT gaming, but not guaranteed earnings. Uniswap interface fees and blockchain gas are separate costs.

Plus Wallet’s guide describes using decentralized apps for activities such as liquidity provision, NFT collecting and blockchain games, but it does not establish earnings, specific safeguards or supported assets. Uniswap’s published fee statement is dated: its support page said interface fees were zero as of December 27, 2025. That does not eliminate blockchain gas or other trading costs. Here is how to assess the claims without confusing promotional descriptions, wallet features and network charges.

What Plus Wallet says you can do

Plus Wallet’s dApp guide presents its wallet as a way to connect with decentralized applications, including NFT collecting, blockchain games and providing liquidity on decentralized exchanges. These are provider-described use cases, not evidence of a particular return or a guarantee that a particular app, token or network is supported. Plus Wallet’s dApp guide does not establish an earnings rate, payout schedule, complete fee list or product-specific risk profile.

Liquidity provision is not a guaranteed yield

Providing liquidity means contributing assets to a decentralized exchange pool; it is distinct from simply holding crypto or earning a fixed interest rate. The guide names liquidity provision as a possible dApp activity, but gives no basis for estimating what a Plus Wallet user might earn. Before connecting, verify the specific protocol, pool, assets, fees and risks in that protocol’s own current documentation. Do not treat the word “earn” as evidence of a promised return.

Check support before connecting

A wallet guide’s mention of dApps does not prove support for every dApp, blockchain, token or NFT. Confirm compatibility and transaction details with the wallet and the application you intend to use before approving a connection or transaction. The available Plus Wallet guide does not establish compatibility with Uniswap or a particular hardware wallet.

What “safeguarding crypto” means with self-custody

Self-custody puts control of transaction signing—and responsibility for protecting the credentials needed to access the wallet—on the user. Uniswap Labs states, “Uniswap Wallet is a self-custody wallet.” It also says, “Uniswap Labs cannot reverse transactions or recover funds on your behalf.” Those statements describe Uniswap Wallet, not Plus Wallet; confirm the custody and recovery model of any wallet with its own provider. Uniswap Labs’ security measures page also describes audits and source-available code as security measures, while stressing user caution.

Practical checks before a transaction

  • Keep recovery phrases private and offline; never enter one into a site or share it with someone claiming to provide support.
  • Check the destination address, network, asset and transaction details before signing. Blockchain transactions are generally not reversible by the wallet provider.
  • Use the wallet’s official documentation to confirm recovery options and supported networks. Do not assume one provider’s backup or security features apply to another.
  • Consider hardware-wallet workflows where supported, and verify the exact model and setup with the wallet provider. Ethereum.org’s directory lists hardware-wallet support for Uniswap Wallet, but that listing does not establish support for Plus Wallet or a specific device. Ethereum.org’s wallet directory

Uniswap fees: interface charges are not network gas

Uniswap Labs’ support homepage stated that it charged no interface fees as of December 27, 2025. That is a dated statement about Uniswap Labs’ interface charge, not a claim that every transaction is free or a guarantee about fees at a later date. Blockchain transactions can still incur gas, and swaps can also be affected by price impact and slippage. Check the current fee information and the transaction preview before confirming. Uniswap Labs Support

Cost or consideration What it means
Interface fee A charge imposed by the service interface. Uniswap Labs’ support homepage said this was zero as of December 27, 2025; verify current terms.
Network gas A blockchain transaction cost paid for network processing. It can apply even when an interface fee is zero and varies with network and transaction conditions.
Price impact and slippage Trading considerations that can change the effective result of a swap; they are not the same as an interface fee or gas charge.

Uniswap Wallet features and availability

Uniswap Labs says its mobile and extension apps follow EIP-7702, which went live with Ethereum’s Pectra upgrade in May 2025. In Uniswap Labs’ explanation, delegation is an on-chain transaction with a gas cost and is specific to a chain. Smart-wallet features can allow batched actions and gas abstraction; delegation is optional for existing wallets to keep using the wallet. These details concern Uniswap Wallet and should not be assumed to describe Plus Wallet. Uniswap Labs’ EIP-7702 explanation

In an announcement dated June 4, 2026, Uniswap Labs described creating an in-app wallet with Face ID, Touch ID or a passkey, along with portfolio tracking and cross-chain balance features. An announcement is not proof that a feature is available to every user or region: check the current app and announcement details for rollout and eligibility. Uniswap Labs Blog

NFTs in gaming: utility does not prove a market boom

Plus Wallet’s guide points to blockchain games and ownership of in-game items as possible dApp use cases. That establishes a provider-described use case, not adoption, market growth or the popularity of any particular game. A game may use NFTs to represent items, but the wallet guide alone does not show what those items do, whether they can move between games, or whether they can be sold. Evaluate the game’s own rules and documentation rather than assuming an NFT has utility or resale value.

Are wallet activity and NFTs private?

No: wallet interfaces may have privacy features, but public blockchain activity can be inspected by address. Uniswap Labs says wallet addresses, balances, NFTs and transaction histories can be viewed with block explorers. If an address is associated with a person, its visible activity may be linkable to them. Uniswap Labs’ explanation of transaction visibility
