The console listing says the bundle is no longer available in new condition, while the controller listing surfaced an offer from a third-party seller. Check the live listing’s seller, condition, total price and shipping or pickup status before treating an offer as a Best Buy restock.
What Best Buy’s listings show
Best Buy has product listings for both anniversary items, but a listing is not proof that Best Buy currently has new stock. The available information also does not establish a restock date, time, price, purchase limit or app-only buying process.
- PS5 Slim Digital Edition 30th Anniversary bundle: Best Buy’s listing identifies model 1000046530 and says the bundle is no longer available in new condition. That does not establish whether an open-box or used unit exists, or whether new stock could appear later. Check the PS5 bundle listing.
- 30th Anniversary DualSense controller: Best Buy’s listing identifies model 1000046929. The offer surfaced there was from a third-party seller, not a confirmed Best Buy-sold restock. Review the seller and item condition as well as the total price and delivery or pickup details. Check the controller listing.
Best Buy customer questions such as “Will there be any more restocks :(” and “When will it be on sale?” are questions from shoppers, not announcements of future inventory.
How to tell a retailer restock from a marketplace offer
Before buying, compare the offer with the exact product you want. A marketplace listing or resale offer is not the same as Best Buy selling the item from its own inventory.

What PlayStation’s anniversary availability notice means
PlayStation’s Canadian 30th Anniversary collection page describes the controller’s gray design as inspired by the original PlayStation and says there is “Limited availability at select participating retailers, while supplies last.” That is general availability language; it does not identify Best Buy as having stock today or give a restock date. See PlayStation’s 30th Anniversary collection page.

PlayStation’s September 19, 2024 announcement said pre-orders at participating retailers would begin October 10, 2024. It also said 12,300 PS5 Pro Console 30th Anniversary Limited Edition bundles would be available. Those details refer to the original launch period and the PS5 Pro bundle—not a later Best Buy restock of the PS5 Slim bundle or DualSense. Read PlayStation’s launch announcement.
