- Existing Essential or Extra members: The stated Premium upgrade discount applied to the remaining subscription period.
- Other accounts or regions: Do not assume the same offer or price applied. Sony notes that membership benefits and catalog availability vary by country or region, and the terms shown to an account may differ.

How Extra and Premium differ

| US annual plan | Current price shown by Sony | Notable benefits described by Sony |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | $79.99 | Online multiplayer, monthly games, and other listed benefits |
| Extra | $134.99 | Essential benefits plus the Game Catalog and Ubisoft+ Classics |
| Premium | $159.99 | Extra benefits plus the Classics Catalog, game trials, and cloud streaming |
These are the annual prices displayed on Sony’s US page, not prices for every country or account. Sony’s page also describes a monthly renewal at the then-current PlayStation Store price unless the subscription is canceled; review the renewal terms presented to your account before joining or upgrading.
