How the GameStop Canada offer worked
MobileSyrup reported on November 13, 2024, that GameStop Canada would contact selected Onyx members with an opportunity to purchase products from the PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection. The retailer’s post, as quoted in the report, said it would reach out to its biggest PlayStation fans among loyal Onyx members.
The reported limit was one unit per selected participant. That did not mean every Onyx member was invited. The report said orders were expected to ship November 20, before the stated November 21 launch. It did not disclose how GameStop selected recipients, how many invitations went out, or whether invitees had to choose a particular item. MobileSyrup’s November 13, 2024 report.
Which 30th Anniversary products were included?
The 2024 report described two console bundles and three standalone accessories. Its specifications are reported details from that coverage, not confirmation of current retailer stock.

If you are looking for an individual accessory rather than a console bundle, GameStop has a product page for the PS5 30th Anniversary DualSense Edge controller. It is a separate controller product; that listing does not establish current inventory or prove that the private sale is active.
Is the Onyx-member sale still available?
The reviewed sources do not verify an active sale or a later reopening. That means current availability is unconfirmed, not that the products are permanently unavailable. Check GameStop Canada directly for current stock and access; a past invitation or current membership does not establish eligibility for a new offer.

What Edge Onyx membership means now
GameStop Canada’s terms describe Edge as a loyalty program operated by Electronics Boutique Canada Inc. for Canadian locations and websites. The terms state that the program is scheduled to end November 5, 2026, and that current members continue to receive benefits until then. GameStop Canada Edge program terms.
Membership terms differ by enrollment date. GameStop’s revised terms for members who joined on or after November 5, 2025 set out a different qualification threshold from the legacy terms and state the same November 5, 2026 termination date. Check the terms that apply to your enrollment date for tier qualification. Neither current membership nor current qualification rules establish access to the 2024 invitation-only sale.
