A Mandurah couple won the entire A$50 million Division One prize in Australia’s Powerball draw on 13 November 2025. Lotterywest announced them as the winners on 19 November: their Slikpik 18 entry, bought through Lotterywest Play Online, was the draw’s only Division One-winning ticket nationally.
Who won the A$50 million Powerball jackpot?
Lotterywest identified the winners as a couple from Mandurah, Western Australia, and described them as millennials. Its announcement does not give their individual names, and the contemporaneous report reviewed here does not name them either. They should therefore be referred to as the Mandurah couple or the winners.
Lotterywest said their entry won the full Division One prize. The official draw update reported that it was the only Division One-winning ticket across Australia. Lotterywest’s winner announcement and its 13 November draw update document the result.

What did the couple say they would do with the money?
In Lotterywest’s 19 November announcement, the male winner said he had long wanted to be a stay-at-home dad and looked forward to spending more time with the couple’s toddler. He described family life with a toddler as busy and said slowing down to spend more quality time together would be special.

The couple said they loved living in Mandurah and did not want to move. The winner mentioned possible home improvements, including new gutters and ceiling fans. His wife joked that she might order a steak at their local pub next time instead of her usual parmy. These were plans and comments shared at the time of the announcement; they do not establish what the couple later chose to do.

In a later statement dated 31 July 2026, the Government of Western Australia described the couple’s win as the largest prize in WA in more than three years during financial year 2025–26. That is retrospective government context, separate from the couple’s November 2025 comments.
