Which PPSC AEE answer key covered the October 6 exam?
PPSC’s October 6, 2024 notice covered the Assistant Environmental Engineers’ Competitive Examination, not the separate Junior Environmental Engineer recruitment. It said question papers and answer keys for Sets A, B, C, and D had been uploaded to the PPSC website. Candidates were directed to the link on the webpage for the respective post. Use the key matching your own question-paper set; the notice does not identify one universal key for all candidates.

The notice was titled “Information regarding question paper, answer key and post examination procedure.” A copy of the notice is available in Testbook’s report on the PPSC AEE answer key. The recruitment notification separately advertised 41 posts, according to a contemporaneous Scroll report.
Could candidates still object to the key?
No. The four-day objection period ran from 00:01 on October 7 to 23:59 on October 10, 2024, and has long since ended. During that period, PPSC accepted objections online only and required candidates to provide reasoned support. The notice said not to merely cite a book, document, or website: candidates had to type out the relevant contents or extracts in their objection. It permitted uploading up to three supporting images, each no larger than 200 KB.

The notice stated: “Candidates will not just make references to the relevant books/other documents/website, but will also actually type out the referred contents or the ‘extracts’ in their objections.” The statement was attributed to the office of the Secretary (Examinations), Punjab Public Service Commission, not to a named individual. The notice copy is reproduced in Testbook’s notice report.

PPSC said objections would be considered with expert input and could also be referred to the paper setter. For questions in General Knowledge and Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude, and Punjabi set by the Commission, the notice said expert referral might be needed only if the Commission disagreed with the objection.
After processing objections, PPSC said it would publish a revised answer key. It would not send separate replies to candidates; the revised key would indicate whether an objection was accepted or rejected. The notice also reserved the Commission’s ability to change an answer, allow more than one answer, or withdraw a question.
What happened if a question was withdrawn?
PPSC said every candidate would receive four marks for a withdrawn question, whether or not the candidate had attempted it. The notice’s wording was: “In case, a question is withdrawn, all candidates will be given four (04) marks irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate.”

The 2024 recruitment notification specified four marks for each correct answer, a one-mark deduction for each wrong answer, and no marks for an unanswered question. It also set the written examination duration at two hours. These are details of the 2024 notification, not a statement about any later PPSC examination. A copy of the notification is hosted by Testbook at its PPSC AEE recruitment page.
What is not established by the 2024 notice
The notice documents the answer-key process and objection rules, but it does not establish the present availability of the original download link or the current final-key, result, or recruitment status. The official PPSC site is named in the notice, but the notice copy referenced here is hosted by Testbook; no current official outcome page is confirmed by these sources.
