OSSC CTSRE-2023 applications are closed. Registration ended on 21 January 2024 and online application submission ended on 24 January 2024 under a revised schedule. The earlier 19 January date was superseded; the registration deadline is not an open opportunity to apply now.
What the revised CTSRE-2023 schedule said
The Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) advertised the Combined Technical Services Recruitment Examination-2023 (CTSRE-2023) in Advertisement No. 4812, dated 8 December 2023. A later activation notice attributed to OSSC, Notice No. 5021 dated 20 December 2023, set separate deadlines for registration, application submission and editing:

The initial registration date of 19 January 2024 appeared in contemporary coverage, but the later schedule extended registration to 21 January and kept application submission open through 24 January. The activation notice copy is hosted by Testbook rather than on an OSSC domain, so treat those detailed dates as information from a copy of an OSSC notice. It specified online applications through ossc.gov.in and said a physical copy was not required. The notice copy and the earlier coverage document the distinction.
Why the application is not open now
The deadlines above are historical. OSSC’s recruitment page lists a 7 October 2026 result notification for a Junior Engineer (Civil) candidate under CTSRE-2023, Advertisement No. 4812. That is a result-stage update in the recruitment process, not an announcement that registration has reopened. Check the official OSSC recruitment page for the latest status and notices.

Use the correct commission’s portal
CTSRE-2023 was conducted by the Odisha Staff Selection Commission (OSSC) for Group-B and Group-C state-cadre technical posts and services across Odisha government departments. OSSSC—the Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission—is a different body with separate recruitment notices and a separate portal. Do not use OSSSC CRE-2023 details to infer CTSRE deadlines, posts or eligibility. OSSSC’s own recruitment page is distinct from OSSC’s.

If you are looking for an open recruitment, use OSSC’s official site rather than an old CTSRE-2023 application link or a reposted deadline. OSSC’s candidate resources include notifications, results, exam instructions, previous question papers and mock tests. Start with the official candidate resources and confirm the advertisement and dates for the specific recruitment you intend to apply for.
