1Clear out junk files and repair common Windows errors2Scan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minute3Repair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsAs of October 8, 2026, Walmart’s shopping page listed the standard Nintendo Switch 2 at $499, while Best Buy listed it at $499.99 with an add-to-cart option. Those are retailer-page observations, not a guarantee of stock in your area. Check delivery or pickup for your ZIP code and confirm the seller and final checkout price before buying.
Where to check for a Switch 2 today
Start with the two retailers whose listings were visible in the October 8 check, then use Nintendo’s retailer directory to check other sellers. A retailer’s appearance in the directory means it carries Nintendo products; it does not confirm that a standard Switch 2 is in stock.

| Walmart | On October 8, 2026, the page showed the standard system at $499 and a Mario Kart World bundle at $549. | Enter your location and check delivery or pickup, seller, and checkout total. The listing does not guarantee local stock. |
| Best Buy | On October 8, 2026, the standard system was listed at $499.99 with an add-to-cart control. A Mario Kart World bundle was also listed. | Confirm that the item can still be added to your cart and check local fulfillment and final price. |
| Nintendo retailer directory | Lists Amazon, Best Buy, Costco Wholesale, GameStop, Sam’s Club, Target, Walmart, and other sellers. | Use it to identify retailers to check, not as evidence of current inventory. |
The October 8 check did not establish current standard-console stock at Amazon, Target, GameStop, Costco, or Sam’s Club. Check their listings directly if you are comparing options; do not assume a listing or retailer-directory entry means a console is available.
How to read the prices and listings
Nintendo announced a U.S. system price revision to $499.99, effective September 1, 2026. Its investor document is available here. The October 8 retailer observations differed: Walmart displayed $499, while Best Buy displayed $499.99. Treat those as retailer-specific displayed prices, not a single guaranteed checkout price or proof of a nationwide sale. A listing, delivery message, or add-to-cart control can change and may vary by location.

Before paying, check the item’s seller and fulfillment method, whether delivery or local pickup is actually offered for your area, and the total shown at checkout. If an offer is a bundle, compare its price with what you would pay for the console and included items separately, and account for whether you want those items.

Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle
Nintendo lists a Switch 2 + Nintendo Switch Sports Resort bundle for $529.99, available October 22, 2026, while supplies last. It includes a downloadable game and a three-month Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. Nintendo advertises $27.98 in savings compared with buying the components separately, but says actual savings may vary. The membership auto-renews after its introductory term unless canceled. See Nintendo’s bundle listing for the offer terms and availability.
Zelda 40th Anniversary Edition
Tom’s Guide reported on September 9, 2026, that Walmart had opened preorders for the edition at $519; Amazon had a listing but was not taking preorders, and Best Buy and Target had sold out of their first allocations. The report gave October 29, 2026, as the release date. That September update does not establish current preorder status or release-day inventory. Check the retailer directly for availability and terms; see the September report for what was reported at that time.
