NTET 2025 registration is closed. The application window ran from 4 June to 23 June 2025, and NTA later listed the examination result, so the old NTET portal is not an active application route. Candidates should check NTA’s official notices for any future cycle.
Is NTET 2025 registration still open?
No. NTA’s 16 June 2025 reminder said, “The online registration process for NTET- 2025 Examination commenced on 04 June 2025 and will be closed on 23 June 2025.” The fee-payment deadline was 24 June 2025 at 11:50 p.m. NTA’s archive later listed the 2025 answer-key and recorded-response notice and result declaration, confirming that this is a completed cycle.

What about NTET 2026?
NTA’s later-cycle notice gave an application window of 11 March to 2 April 2026 and an examination date of 28 April 2026. Those dates have also passed. The notice specified a 120-minute duration for the 2026 examination; that figure applies to the 2026 notice and should not be assumed for the 2025 exam.
For the next cycle, check NTA’s Notice Board Archive and the official NTET portal for a current notice and application dates. A past portal link or a previously published schedule does not establish that applications are open.

Who was NTET 2025 for?
NTA described the examination as intended for postgraduates in Indian Systems Medicine and Homoeopathy who wished to take up teaching. The reminder directed candidates to the Information Bulletin for the detailed eligibility rules, exam scheme, centres, fees and application procedure. The broad description alone does not establish a specific qualifying degree, minimum marks, category rule, fee amount or document checklist.
NTA’s 2026 notice separately stated that candidates pursuing postgraduate courses in Ayurveda, Siddha or Unani should have completed 30 months of course duration and obtain a no-objection certificate from their college when filling in the online application. That is a 2026 notice detail, not a verified NTET 2025 requirement.

How to verify a future application window
- Open NTA’s Notice Board Archive and look for the latest NTET notice.
- Confirm that the notice names the relevant exam year and gives a current application window. Do not rely on the 2025 dates for a later cycle.
- Use the portal and application instructions linked in that notice, and read its Information Bulletin for eligibility, fees, required documents and exam details.
The 2025 reminder listed NTA’s help desk as 011 40759000 and [email protected]. These are historical contact details from that notice; verify current contact information on NTA’s official site before using them.
