The Odisha Police State Selection Board’s 2024 Sepoy/Constable recruitment grew from 1,360 advertised posts to 2,080 after an October addendum reported 720 additional posts for certain battalions. Applications are closed, and the official archive records results and joining notices through September 2025.
What changed in the 2024 vacancy count?
The original recruitment advertisement listed 1,360 posts for Sepoy/Constable roles in Odisha Police battalions. Addendum No. 04/SSB, dated 23 October 2024, reported 720 more posts, taking the advertised total to 2,080 according to the indexed notice text. The 720 figure is the increase, not the total vacancy count. The complete battalion- and category-wise table is not confirmed here, so those allocations should be checked against the official addendum rather than inferred.
