An aggregator later reported May 4, 2024 as a deadline, but no official OPSC extension notice confirming that date is established here. Treat April 20 as the deadline printed in the advertisement unless OPSC documentation confirms otherwise. The OPSC website is the commission’s official source for current notices, but its current notices do not by themselves establish the final disposition of this specific 2024 advertisement.
Pay stated in the notification
The advertisement listed entry pay of Rs. 1,31,400 at Level 13A1, with usual dearness and other allowances admissible under government rules. This is the pay stated for the advertised posts, not a claim about current pay for other OPSC faculty recruitments.
Eligibility and selection information
Scroll.in’s contemporaneous summary reported a minimum age of 21 years as of April 20, 2024, no maximum age limit, and a relevant PhD together with first class or equivalent at bachelor’s or master’s level. It also reported interview shortlisting in a 1:4 ratio based on research score. These are secondary summaries; eligibility conditions, concessions, scoring rules, and selection details should be checked against the full advertisement rather than inferred from a news report.
