What was announced in the OSSC JEO JA result update?
Scroll reported on 4 February 2025 that OSSC had announced results for the Junior Enforcement Officer and Junior Accountant posts under Advertisement No. 5130/OSSC. The advertisement is dated 29 December 2023. The early report said the Mains was expected in April; subsequent examination notices establish the dates that were later used.
The acronym matters when searching: this recruitment’s JA post is Junior Accountant. Junior Assistant is a different recruitment label and should not be used to identify this result.
When were the OSSC JEO JA Mains exams held?
The later examination notice, reproduced by Testbook, confirms the Main Written Examination was held on 13 April 2025 and the Mathematics Test on 15 April 2025. The Mains answer-key notice was dated 17 April 2025 and set 20 April 2025 as the deadline for objections to the provisional answer keys.
- 12 April 2025: Computer Skill Test.
- 13 April 2025: Main Written Examination.
- 15 April 2025: Mathematics Test.
- 17 April 2025: Provisional Mains answer-key notice; objections were due by 20 April.
These are historical dates, not a current or upcoming schedule.
What happened after the written exams?
An OSSC notice dated 16 April 2025, reproduced by Testbook, said 166 candidates had provisionally qualified in the Computer Skill Test held on 12 April. That is a count for this recruitment stage, not a final selection count.

A provisional selection notification dated 6 May 2025 also surfaced. It made selection subject to the stated examination and certificate-verification requirements. The provisional qualification notice advised candidates to check the OSSC website regularly for recruitment updates. Individual status and any subsequent change should be confirmed with the Commission.

- Open the official OSSC portal.
- Go to Results, the portal’s results section.
- Search for Junior Enforcement Officer or Junior Accountant, or use Advertisement No. 5130/OSSC to identify the recruitment.
- Open the relevant notice or result and follow its instructions to check your status.
The portal also provides Mock Test Links and Previous Question Papers. Its visible news list may emphasize newer recruitment notices, so the old JEO/JA result may not appear in the current feed. Search the Results section by post name or advertisement number; rely on OSSC for your own status rather than on a reproduced notice.
