Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings’ cross-brand loyalty program is not a permanent status match from any cruise line. Its official name is the Loyalty Status Honoring Program, and it recognizes qualifying status earned in Norwegian Cruise Line, Oceania Cruises, or Regent Seven Seas Cruises’ own loyalty programs for a specific sailing on one of those brands.
Requests opened September 29, 2025, and eligible sailings began October 15, 2025. The rules now distinguish requests filed before March 16, 2026, from those filed on or after that date because the tier-mapping table changed.
What the program does—and what it does not do
NCLH’s program lets an eligible member receive a recognized loyalty tier from another participating NCLH brand for a requested voyage. The three programs involved are Latitudes Rewards (Norwegian), Oceania Club (Oceania), and Seven Seas Society (Regent). Status earned with an unrelated cruise line or travel company does not qualify. The company’s current program terms describe the recognition as sailing-specific, not a permanent transfer.
The honored tier applies only to the requested cruise. It does not transfer points, and the guest returns to the tier earned with the sailing brand within seven days after the cruise. A member enrolled in more than one NCLH program receives the highest applicable status for that trip; points accrue only in the loyalty program of the brand sailed. Which tier table applies to your request?
The submission date—not simply the cruise date—determines which mapping applies. The current terms say requests made on or after March 16, 2026 use the 2026 recognition structure. A request submitted earlier for a sailing after March 16, 2026 uses the 2025 table.

The program page does not state an Oceania match for Norwegian Sapphire or Diamond in its 2025 table. NCLH says it refined recognition to better align the brands’ different earning structures and benefits; that is the company’s explanation, not an independent measure of the relative value of the tiers.

What benefits are included?
The honored tier provides standard benefits associated with the corresponding tier of the brand being sailed, subject to that brand’s terms. The program does not carry over milestone benefits. The current terms name complimentary cruises, cabin upgrades, select tier discounts, and personalized items as examples of excluded milestone benefits.
That distinction matters when estimating a trip’s value: recognition does not mean every reward attached to a member’s home-brand tier will be available on another brand. Check the sailing brand’s own description of the standard tier benefits before relying on a particular perk.

Who can request recognition, and how?
You must be at least 18 and an active member of at least one of the three participating loyalty programs. Send the request to the brand you will sail, no later than 10 days before departure. NCL says processing may take up to 72 business hours, and it cannot honor requests after the voyage begins.
- Gather the reservation number and sail date, ship and sailing brand, and loyalty-program numbers for every NCLH program in which you are enrolled.
- Include your name, date of birth, email address, and phone number.
- Email the request to the sailing brand: Norwegian at [email protected], Oceania at [email protected], or Regent at [email protected].
- Allow time for processing before departure. One submission may cover back-to-back sailings. For a Sixthman or Norwegian charter cruise, wait until a Norwegian reservation number has been assigned before sending the request.
Because the company reserves the right to change or end the program, confirm the latest contact details and conditions on the official Status Honoring page before submitting.

Why NCLH announced the program
When NCLH announced the launch on September 29, 2025, its president and chief executive officer, Harry Sommer, said: “We want our guests to feel rewarded whenever they choose to sail within our family of award-winning cruise brands. With the new Loyalty Status Honoring Program, our guests can experience more of what makes each brand special, while still enjoying the loyalty recognition they’ve worked hard to achieve.” The statement describes the company’s rationale; it is not an independent assessment of the program’s value.
The launch announcement also said NCLH then operated 34 ships and served more than 700 destinations. Those were company-reported figures in the September 29, 2025 announcement, not independently verified current totals. See NCLH’s launch announcement.
