Tom’s Guide reported Walmart’s price at $549 on October 7, 2026, while GamesRadar listed Amazon at $549.99. Check the live checkout price before buying: the bundle’s advertised savings are measured against suggested retail prices, not necessarily today’s separate-item prices.
What comes with the bundle
Nintendo’s US listing includes a Switch 2 system, a full download of Mario Kart World, and a three-month (90-day) Nintendo Switch Online Individual Membership. The game supports races with up to 24 drivers. Nintendo also lists a 7.9-inch LCD screen, 4K output in TV mode with a compatible display, and two Joy-Con 2 controllers. What the reported prices show
| Source and date | Reported price | How to read it |
|---|---|---|
| Tom’s Guide, updated October 7, 2026 | $549 at Walmart | A dated report, not a guarantee of today’s checkout price. Read the deal coverage. |
| GamesRadar+, October 2026 roundup | $549.99 at Amazon | The reported price matches Nintendo’s listed MSRP. Check the retailer page for current price and stock. Read the bundle roundup. |
| Nintendo US listing, checked October 8, 2026 | $549.99 MSRP | Nintendo’s listed price and its stated comparison basis; retailer offers may differ. Check Nintendo’s listing. |
Against the $549.99 MSRP, the reported Walmart price is $0.99 lower; the reported Amazon price is not a discount. These reports do not establish a current $50 cut from MSRP. Prices and availability can change, so verify both on the retailer’s checkout page.
How to interpret Nintendo’s $37.98 savings claim
Nintendo says the $549.99 bundle saves $37.98 compared with the suggested retail prices of buying the system, game, and membership separately. That is an MSRP-based comparison, not a promise that the bundle is $37.98 below the prices shoppers can find today. GamesRadar cautions that a game may sell below its MSRP, which can reduce or eliminate the bundle’s advantage against current street prices.

How to decide whether it is a good deal for you
- Check the live bundle price. Compare the actual checkout total at the retailer with Nintendo’s $549.99 listed MSRP, including any offer conditions that apply.
- Price the included items separately. Add the console, Mario Kart World, and three-month Individual Membership at their current prices from the retailers you would actually use. Do not substitute Nintendo’s MSRP comparison for this calculation.
- Value only what you will use. If you would buy the game and want the membership, their inclusion can make the bundle convenient. If you do not want either, their suggested retail value does not automatically make the package worthwhile.
- Compare availability and terms. Check stock and checkout conditions across retailers; dated deal coverage may no longer match a live offer.
Nintendo’s announcement described the bundle as available starting in late September. Confirm the current listing for any offer terms or availability details before purchase.
