Who is covered by the December 2023 result?
The notice dated 19 December 2023 states that results are declared for candidates qualified after the interview/personality test for Deputy Registrar, Assistant Registrar and Senior System Analyst. NTA identifies the recruitment as JNU Recruitment (Non-Teaching Posts) 2023, advertisement 1/RC(NT)/2023. The notice says: “The result of the candidates qualified after the Interview/ Personality Test for the following Posts is hereby declared today i.e. 19 December 2023:”
NTA says the written examination was conducted on 26 April, 29 May and 2 June 2023. Those exam dates are part of the recruitment timeline; the December declaration is specifically for the interview/personality-test stage.

Why this is not the result for every JNU non-teaching post
JNU’s recruitment page lists separate later notices and result documents for other posts in the same recruitment. For example, it includes a February 2024 declaration for Private Secretary, Personal Assistant and Stenographer. Candidates for those roles should use the notice for their own post rather than treating the 19 December announcement as applicable to them.

What the result declaration confirms
The December notice announces candidates qualified after interview/personality test for the three named posts. It does not, on its own, establish that every verification step is complete or that every qualified candidate has received an appointment. Check subsequent notices on the official NTA or JNU pages for post-result directions and updates.
