For NYC employees looking to sign in to CityTime, use the Web Clock page at webclock.nyc.gov if that is the route your agency has approved. The official pages reviewed do not verify a826-ra.dep.nyc.gov as the current CityTime login address, so do not rely on that host or third-party instructions as confirmed City guidance.
What CityTime lets employees do
The NYC Office of Payroll Administration describes CityTime as a portal for employees to manage time and leave requests and view leave balances. See the OPA employee portals directory for that description.
How to access the documented Web Clock
- Go to the official CityTime Web Clock page, or use the specific sign-in route your agency provides.
- Enter your credentials on the sign-in page and sign in to record time.
- Allow cookies if prompted or blocked by your browser. The Web Clock page says cookies are needed to maintain the login session.
The Web Clock page documents sign-in for recording time; it does not establish that every CityTime function, such as leave requests or balance viewing, is available there.
Is a826-ra.dep.nyc.gov the current login page?
Its current status could not be verified from the official City pages reviewed. A third-party page using that host in its title is not proof that the address is the current, agency-approved sign-in route. The documented City Web Clock page is at webclock.nyc.gov; do not assume the two addresses are interchangeable.

What to do if you cannot sign in
For the approved route, account access, or password help, contact your agency’s payroll, HR, or IT support. The official pages reviewed do not provide host-specific password-reset, MFA, VPN, or remote-access instructions, so follow your agency’s procedures rather than relying on unsupported steps from an outside guide.
Overtime reminder on the Web Clock page
The CityTime Web Clock page states: “Employees eligible to receive overtime compensation under the FLSA and/or collective bargaining agreements are only authorized to work during their regularly scheduled hours. Any work performed before or after their regularly scheduled hours must be approved in accordance with their agency’s policy.”
