Which event fits your utility role?
Public power and municipal utility leadership
AMP’s annual conference is oriented toward member communities and municipal systems, combining member business with education on local government and public-power issues. AMP says the event attracts more than 350 elected officials, utility executives, staff from member communities, AMP staff, consultants, and municipal electric partners. That is an organizer-reported figure; the event page does not establish it as a confirmed count for the 2026 edition. See AMP’s conference information.
Senior electric utility operations
AEIC describes its annual meeting as a gathering for senior operators at North American electric utilities. Its stated format includes general sessions, member panels, and Achievement Awards. Review the AEIC events page for current program details.

They are prior-year organizer-reported figures, not attendance guarantees for 2026. The page is at UA Week 2026.
Cybersecurity and physical security
GridSecCon is the shortlist’s security-focused option for electric-sector leaders. An industry roundup describes expert training and collaboration, but check the agenda and eligibility details with the event organizer before deciding. Its dates overlap AEIC, UA Week, and part of WaterSmart Innovations. The listed information appears in Utility Dive’s 2026 conference roundup.

- Check whether the program has sessions relevant to your specialty, rather than relying only on the event’s broad audience description.
- Account for overlaps and travel between locations when comparing events in the same week.
- Confirm hotel and travel costs against your employer’s budget; the event listings do not establish current rates.
