Yes—Mint Mobile’s official pages currently advertise Unlimited for $15 per month, but that is a prepaid, introductory offer, not the full picture of the cost or service. The three-month option costs $45 upfront before taxes and fees, applies to new customers for the initial term only, and comes with limits on high-speed data, hotspot use and video quality. Mint’s pages show the offer now, despite a report that it was scheduled to end September 30, 2026, so check the live checkout price and terms before signing up.

What the $15 offer actually costs

Mint’s current plan display lists the $15 monthly equivalent across three-, six- and 12-month prepaid terms. You pay for the full term in advance, and taxes and fees are extra. The total at checkout may therefore be higher than the advertised amount.

Prepaid term Upfront offer price Advertised monthly equivalent
3 months $45 $15
6 months $90 $15
12 months $180 $15

These are the amounts Mint displays for the promotion, before applicable taxes and fees; check your checkout screen for the total. Mint’s official pages say the offer is for new customers for the initial plan term only, after which full-price plan options apply. The sources do not specify every situation that qualifies someone as a “new customer.”

There is also a price distinction to keep in mind: Mint’s three-month Unlimited broadband facts list a $30 monthly price and a $40 regular monthly price, while the promotion page shows $15 per month as the term-equivalent offer. Because the pages present these figures differently, confirm the renewal price for the specific plan and term shown at checkout rather than assuming that $15 continues.

What “unlimited” includes—and what it does not

Mint’s plan details qualify the unlimited data claim. Customers who use more than 50GB in a month may notice reduced speeds for the rest of that monthly cycle in certain locations when the network is busy. This is a conditional network-management notice, not a promise that every customer will be slowed immediately after 50GB.

  • Hotspot: Includes up to 20GB of hotspot data; Mint does not describe this as unlimited hotspot use.
  • Video: Video streams in SD, not HD.
  • Data speeds: The over-50GB notice says reduced speeds may occur in certain locations when the network is busy.

Mint’s broadband facts publish typical ranges for the three-month Unlimited plan: 79–357 Mbps download, 6–30 Mbps upload and 17–32 ms latency. These are carrier-published typical ranges, not independent test results or a guarantee of performance at a particular address. See Mint’s Unlimited plan and broadband facts for the published terms.

Is the promotion still available?

Mint’s official pages display the $15 offer as of October 8, 2026. However, Android Central reported on September 23, 2026, that Mint planned to retire the promotion on September 30. The available information does not establish whether Mint extended the offer, revised its deadline or whether the report’s date changed. Treat the offer as available only if Mint still shows it for your purchase at checkout; no firm current expiration date is stated on the cited Mint pages. See Mint’s plan page and Android Central’s September 23 report.

Who should consider it—and what to check first

The offer may suit someone who is comfortable paying for several months upfront and whose data, hotspot and video needs fit the stated limits. Mint says it operates on the T-Mobile network and supports bringing your own phone, but coverage and compatibility depend on your locations and handset. Check both before switching; the plan terms do not establish service quality for a particular address. Mint’s service and hotspot details provide more information.

When comparing the offer with another plan, compare the full prepaid checkout cost, the regular renewal price, the high-speed data/network-management terms, hotspot allowance, video quality, coverage where you use your phone and eligibility for the new-customer promotion. A low monthly equivalent is only useful if the upfront commitment and service limits fit your situation.

What “No Catch” leaves out

The headline price is real on Mint’s currently displayed offer, but “No Catch” is too broad: the price requires prepaid payment, taxes and fees are extra, the promotion is limited to new customers’ initial term, and Unlimited has stated network-management, hotspot and SD-video terms. The offer’s live availability and the renewal price should be confirmed on Mint’s checkout screen.
