Before the event, the Associated Press said Swift and Kelce had not publicly confirmed the wedding details. That was the status at the time of AP’s report; CBS subsequently reported that they married at MSG on July 3.

The Associated Press reported street closures and restrictions near Madison Square Garden and Penn Station as part of the arrangements. CBS News, citing law enforcement sources, reported that private security and NYPD officers were present, with 135 NYPD officers assigned around the venue.
