The offer has ended; the cups and terms also differed by country, so the U.S. lineup was not universal.
What came with the U.S. Collector’s Meal?
McDonald’s USA said the offer was available for a limited time at participating restaurants, through the app, and at drive-throughs. Customers could choose a breakfast version or a rest-of-day meal, each paired with one collectible cup. The company did not state a single U.S. price in its announcement. McDonald’s USA’s August 7, 2024 announcement introduced the offer and its meal details.
| When | Meal included |
|---|---|
| Breakfast | Sausage McMuffin with Egg, Hash Brown, and hot coffee |
| Rest of day | Choice of a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets or a Big Mac, with fries and a soft drink |
What were the six U.S. cup designs?
The U.S. release named six design families, drawing on McDonald’s and partner keepsakes from earlier decades:
- Barbie & Hot Wheels
- Beanie Babies
- Coca-Cola
- Hello Kitty & Peanuts
- Shrek, Jurassic Park & Minions
- McDonald’s keepsakes
The announcement cited earlier collectibles including the Cowpoke McNugget Buddy from 1988, McDonald’s Dragster from 1993, and Hello Kitty Crew Keychain from 2000. The six themes describe the U.S. lineup; they should not be taken as a worldwide list. McDonald’s USA’s release provides the U.S. design names and inspirations.

How did the offer differ outside the United States?
McDonald’s said the promotion reached more than 30 countries, with cup material and offer structure varying by market. Its global announcement described cups made of embossed glass or Tritan plastic, depending on location. The global announcement does not establish one common price, meal, or cup lineup for every country.
| Market | Designs and material | Offer terms stated in the release |
|---|---|---|
| United States | Six design families; cup material not stated in the U.S. release | One cup paired with a breakfast or rest-of-day Collector’s Meal; limited time at participating locations, in the app, and through drive-throughs. The U.S. release did not state a price. |
| Canada | Four designs; glass | C$3 plus tax with an Extra Value Meal, excluding McValue Meals and Happy Meals; one glass per qualifying purchase, offered in sequence while supplies lasted. Delivery was excluded. These were Canada-specific terms. Canadian announcement. |
| Australia | Six designs; glasses | With qualifying large Quarter Pounder meals, August 14–September 3, 2024, while stocks lasted. Australian announcement. |
Which designs appeared in Australia?
Australia’s six glasses were Grimace; Coca-Cola; Shrek & Minions; Peanuts & Hello Kitty; Barbie & Hot Wheels; and Teenie Beanie Babies. The Australian release connected designs to historic keepsakes including the Grimace Mug (1976), Hot Wheels McDonald’s Dragster (1993), Pet Loving’ Barbie (1999), Hello Kitty Crew Keychain (2000), and Park Ranger Snoopy (2002). The Australian lineup differs from the U.S. list: it names Grimace and Teenie Beanie Babies separately, for example. The stated promotion window ended September 3, 2024, with availability subject to stocks. McDonald’s Australia’s announcement gives the designs and dates.

Can you still get a Collector’s Meal?
No: McDonald’s described the U.S. offer as limited time, and the Australian announcement gave an August 14–September 3, 2024 window. These were historical promotions, not currently advertised meals. A cup might be offered by a resale seller, but the announcements do not establish current listings, authenticity, condition, or availability.
