Those are historical prices, not verified current offers. What was the Marlo Lounge Chair compared with?
PerthNow named Temple & Webster’s Lowen Sling Accent Chair as the more expensive comparison. Its January 22, 2025 article reported the Lowen at $949 and the Kmart Marlo at $99, a difference of $850 at that time. Neither figure establishes a current price. What does Kmart’s manual confirm?

Is the Marlo worth its reported $99 launch price?
The 2025 comparison alone cannot answer that as a current buying question. It gives a historical price contrast, not a like-for-like specification comparison. To judge value, compare the current prices and delivery costs, dimensions and room fit, frame and upholstery materials, stated load limits, assembly, care and return terms for both chairs.
PerthNow also relayed a shopper’s social-media experience and commenters’ reactions, and reported that a TikTok video had more than 400,000 views. Those are anecdotal reactions and a reported view count—not evidence of sales, comfort, durability or customer satisfaction.
