The reported regular deadline to submit interview documents for the MPPSC Assistant Professor (Law) Exam-2022 was November 28, 2024. That deadline—and both reported late-submission windows—has passed. These dates concern the 2022 Law exam, not a current recruitment cycle.
What was the document-submission deadline?
In a report published November 28, 2024, Scroll said candidates had to submit their interview records by November 28, 2024. It also reported two late-submission periods, each requiring a late fee:
| Submission period reported by Scroll | Reported late fee | Status as of October 8, 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Through November 28, 2024 | No late fee reported for this period | Expired |
| November 29–December 5, 2024 | ₹3,000 | Expired |
| December 6–12, 2024 | ₹25,000 | Expired |
Scroll’s contemporaneous report is the source for these historical dates and fees. The original MPPSC notice was not available to independently verify the details.
How did the report say candidates should submit the records?
Scroll reported that candidates were to submit documents offline to the Secretary, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission, Residency Area, Indore. It said the envelope should be labeled “Records for Interview of Assistant Professor (Law) Examination-2022.” These are instructions as reproduced in Scroll’s report, not independently confirmed here against the original notice.

Which recruitment cycle did this concern?
The dates apply specifically to the Assistant Professor (Law) Exam-2022 interview-document process. Scroll reported that 52 candidates had been selected against 29 posts in that process. This figure is specific to the report and should not be treated as a count for another subject or recruitment cycle.
A separate Assistant Professor update for Hindi reported in September 2026 concerns the Hindi Exam-2025, not the Law Exam-2022. It does not reopen or change the old Law document deadline. The available information does not establish a current document deadline for a separate Law recruitment process.
