The report also cited $820,203 in income for 2017 and the first months of 2018. Neither figure is a current net-worth estimate: the assets were reported historically, and income over a specified period is not the same as wealth.
The disclosure figures also have important limits. Bloomberg noted that officials report asset values in broad ranges and that the filing rules did not require personal real estate holdings. The reported maximum therefore should not be treated as a complete valuation of Kudlow’s assets, much less as a direct comparison with the undated $5 million net-worth estimate.
