LEGO’s Technic Chevrolet Corvette Stingray set 42205 is listed as available to buy—not up for preorder—on LEGO’s US store. The 732-piece set is priced at $59.99 on the listing and is designed for ages 9 and up. Check LEGO’s current listing for live stock and pricing.
What the LEGO Corvette set includes
LEGO describes 42205 as a model kit with steering, a moving 8-cylinder engine and differential, plus doors and a hood that open. The official description does not specifically establish that the pistons move, so “moving 8-cylinder engine” is the more precise way to describe the feature.
The completed model is listed as over 3 inches (8 cm) high, 10.5 inches (27 cm) long and 5.5 inches (14 cm) wide. Those dimensions make it a compact build rather than a large-scale display model.
42205 and the blue Corvette 42217 are different sets
LEGO also sells a blue Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, set 42217. It is a separate product from 42205, not simply another name for the set in the headline.
