What happened to the MPESB Group 5 recruitment?
The Madhya Pradesh Employees Selection Board (MPESB) conducted the Group-5 Staff Nurse, Paramedical and Other Post Combined Recruitment Test – 2024 for nursing, paramedical and equivalent posts. This recruitment cycle is complete: applications are no longer being accepted, the examination has been held, and the result was hosted in April 2025.

The original rulebook gave 13 January as the closing date; MPESB’s dedicated schedule later revised it to 16 January. The correction period ran through 18 January. The dates above follow the recruitment’s official rulebook and dedicated schedule rather than a conflicting indexed student-dashboard entry.
What did “1,170 posts” mean?
Scroll reported 1,170 vacancies when applications opened in December 2024. Treat that as the contemporaneous headline figure, not as a confirmed final vacancy total: MPESB subsequently published revised vacancy information. The total applicable to a particular post or category may therefore depend on the relevant revised vacancy notice and rulebook version.

What was the application fee?
Scroll’s report at the time stated that the unreserved application fee was ₹500. It reported a ₹250 fee for SC, ST, OBC, EWS and PWD applicants who were Madhya Pradesh natives. These are historical reported fees; the applicable official rulebook version is the controlling source for exact eligibility and fee terms.
