Architectural Digest reported in October 2024 that Kevin Hart’s primary residence was in Calabasas, California. That is a dated report, not confirmation of his real-time whereabouts or current ownership in 2026. Hart’s former home in Tarzana was sold in 2019.

Where Kevin Hart was reported to live

Architectural Digest reported on October 25, 2024, that Hart’s primary residence was in Calabasas, California. The publication said he moved into the custom-built home in 2018. This supports a city-level answer as of the article’s publication, not a claim about where Hart is at any given moment or independent confirmation of ownership today. What is reported about the Calabasas properties

Architectural Digest describes two separate properties in Calabasas: the reported primary residence and a neighboring property Hart reportedly bought in 2021. Its figures and property descriptions reflect the publication’s reporting, not a current appraisal or verified title records.

Property Reported details
Primary residence Architectural Digest reported a move-in date of 2018, a custom-built Spanish-villa-style house of about 9,500 square feet on a 26-acre plot, and an approximate reported cost of $5 million. Features described include a playground, pool, volleyball court, indoor-outdoor gym, covered patio, outdoor kitchen, and pool spa with waterfall.
Neighboring property Architectural Digest reported a 2021 purchase for $7 million, on a 16-acre plot, with a 9,349-square-foot house. The publication described six bedrooms and bathrooms, a pool, tennis court, putting green, koi pond, wine cellar, guesthouse, and poolside casita. Its statement that Hart still owned the property applied at the time of its 2024 article.

Hart has spoken about design preferences in a different setting: during a 2023 Architectural Digest tour of his Hollywood office, he said, “I want open spaces. I want a lot of glass.” That quote concerns the office tour, not specifically the Calabasas residence.

Tarzana was a former home, not the current-residence answer

Hart’s Tarzana home is part of his real-estate history. Architectural Digest reports that he bought the two-story property in 2012 for $1.99 million and sold it in 2019 for $2.75 million.

The Los Angeles Times reported the sale on September 10, 2019, describing the 6,549-square-foot home as having seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms on a nearly half-acre lot. The Times said it was then being offered for $3.392 million; that was an asking price after Hart’s sale, not his sale proceeds or a current valuation.
