Forbes reported on March 7, 2021, that Bezos responded positively to Scott’s marriage to Jewett, a Seattle science teacher. The Washington Post also reported a statement congratulating the couple on March 7, 2021. Its version reads: “Dan is such a great guy, and I’m happy and excited for the both of them,” he said in a statement. When did Scott and Jewett marry?
The March 7 date is the publication date of the reports, not a confirmed wedding date. The Washington Post said it was unclear when Scott and Jewett married. Contemporaneous coverage reported that they had married, but these accounts do not establish a more precise date.
