The KIOTI HX1302 and HX1402 are the company’s highest-powered tractors to date, according to KIOTI. The clearest difference is engine and PTO output: the HX1302 is rated at 130.10 hp engine power and 109 hp PTO power, while the HX1402 is rated at 140.10 hp and 120 hp PTO power. Their listed transmission, hydraulic pump capacity, lift capacity, hitch category, and rear PTO speeds are otherwise the same. For buyers, the choice comes down to whether the HX1402’s additional power suits the work and whether its local price and configuration justify the difference.
What are the KIOTI HX1302 and HX1402?
KIOTI announced both models on May 20, 2025, as additions to its HX Series heavy-duty utility tractors. The manufacturer describes them for farming, baling, tilling, cultivating, excavating, and grading. KIOTI calls them its most powerful tractors yet; its company history describes them as its largest tractors ever. Those are company claims, not findings from an independent comparative test. KIOTI’s launch announcement provides the intended applications and launch specifications.
KIOTI product line manager for tractors Joel Hicks said the models “represent a significant advancement in stability, power, and versatility.” That is KIOTI’s assessment; the published material cited here does not establish independent field-test results for stability, productivity, fuel use, or reliability.

How much horsepower does each KIOTI tractor have?
HX1302 horsepower
KIOTI lists the HX1302 at 130.10 hp engine power and 109 hp PTO power. Engine horsepower and PTO horsepower describe different output measurements, so they should not be treated as interchangeable. Check the implement’s power requirements against the tractor’s PTO rating, rather than relying on engine horsepower alone.
HX1402 horsepower
KIOTI lists the HX1402 at 140.10 hp engine power and 120 hp PTO power. Compared with the HX1302, that is 10 hp more engine power and 11 hp more PTO power on the published specifications.

What is different between the HX1302 and HX1402?
The published distinction is power: the HX1402 has higher listed engine and PTO horsepower. The consulted KIOTI model pages show the same engine family, power-shuttle/semi-powershift transmission, pump capacity, lift capacity, hitch category, and rear PTO speeds for both models. That does not establish that every axle, tire, attachment, or build configuration is identical. Compare the precise local build sheets before deciding; the specifications alone do not show whether the extra rated output will improve a particular job.
What implements fit the KIOTI HX1302 and HX1402?
KIOTI identifies a Category II three-point hitch and rear PTO options of 540, 540E, and 1,000 rpm. The HX1302 build page lists categories including a rotary cutter, bale spears, pallet forks, rear blades, snow pushers, a boom pole, and a front-end loader; the HX1402 build page also lists a loader and implement categories. These listings indicate intended options, but they do not confirm that every implement—or every third-party listing marketed as Category II—fits every tractor configuration.

Before buying an implement, confirm the hitch category and dimensions, required PTO speed, hydraulic connections and flow needs, tractor configuration, and the implement manufacturer’s requirements. Ask a KIOTI dealer to verify the exact tractor-and-implement combination. A hitch-category match by itself is not proof of full compatibility.

KIOTI’s pages showed different prices by model, country, and page when accessed in 2026. The values below are page-specific manufacturer figures, not a like-for-like current quote; currency and build details must be confirmed with a local dealer.

Independent reader supportYour contribution helps us test, update, and keep practical guides available for everyone.Which model should you consider?
- Consider the HX1302 if its published 109 hp PTO and 130.10 hp engine ratings meet the requirements of your work and its local build and price fit your budget.
- Consider the HX1402 if the additional published engine and PTO power is useful for your intended work and the specific configuration and price make sense.
- For either tractor, compare the actual implements, PTO requirements, hydraulic needs, and dealer-quoted build—not just the model name or headline horsepower.
The available official information gives specifications and intended applications, but not independent comparative field results, fuel-use figures, reliability studies, or customer survey data. Buyers should treat the output and capacity figures as KIOTI’s published specifications, not evidence that one model will outperform the other on a particular farm or job.
