What happened to the $15 Sam’s Club offer?
Sam’s Club advertised $45 off Club or $70 off Plus for new members who joined between June 11 and July 5, 2026. That made the introductory prices $15 for Club and $50 for Plus, but the offer has ended. The join page said the promotion was limited, could be changed or terminated, and ended July 5, 2026. Sam’s Club’s offer terms are the best place to verify whether a different deal is currently available.
How much does Sam’s Club membership cost now?
Sam’s Club’s Help Center lists standard annual fees of $60 for Club and $120 for Plus, before any applicable taxes. The Plus tier therefore costs $60 more per year at those listed rates. Sam’s Club’s membership information explains how to join online or at a club.

These benefits and exclusions are described on Sam’s Club’s Club and Plus benefits page. Shipping, delivery, and rewards are subject to eligibility; check your local club and the items in your cart. The $750 Sam’s Cash figure is a stated annual cap for qualifying in-club purchases, not a guaranteed reward or a promise that Plus will pay for itself.

Is Plus worth the extra $60?
Base the decision on benefits you expect to use, not the maximum reward shown in the benefit description. Plus costs $60 more annually at the standard listed prices. Sam’s Club’s 2% Sam’s Cash applies only to qualifying in-club purchases and is capped at $750 per year; eligible shipping and delivery may add value if you regularly place orders that meet the requirements.
- Club may fit if your main reasons for joining are member pricing, fuel, Scan & Go, or eligible curbside pickup.
- Plus may fit if your likely qualifying in-club purchases and use of eligible delivery, shipping, or early shopping make the added fee worthwhile to you.
- Compare your own likely use and confirm exclusions before treating any benefit as savings. The listed perks do not establish that a typical member saves a particular amount.
Who qualified for the expired promotion?
The June 11–July 5 offer was for new members. Sam’s Club excluded renewals, current members, people who had been members within the previous 24 months, guest members, and Walmart or Sam’s Club associates. Those were terms of that expired promotion; they do not establish the eligibility rules for any future offer. The join page also says members must be at least 18 and that a primary membership lasts one year from issue. Check the terms shown when joining for current requirements.
How to join and get your membership card
- Join online through Sam’s Club’s join page or enroll at a club.
- Use the Sam’s Club app for an instant digital membership card.
- To get a physical card at a club, bring your membership number and government-issued ID.
- The complimentary second card is for a household family member who is at least 18.

Membership renews annually unless canceled. Sam’s Club’s terms say: “By selecting ‘Join’ or ‘Renew,’ you agree that Sam’s Club may automatically charge your designated or preferred payment method for full membership price, plus any applicable taxes, on a recurring annual basis until you cancel your membership.” The renewal is at the then-current rate, not necessarily the price of an introductory promotion. Sam’s Club’s Terms and Conditions describe the recurring charge.

- Keep confirmation of the cancellation and check your account for the membership’s status.
