The revised Physical Efficiency Test (PET) for the Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination (JECCE) 2023 was reported to run from August 22 through September 4, 2024. Those dates are in the past; this is a historical schedule update, not an upcoming test notice.
When was the JSSC JECCE 2023 PET held?
Amar Ujala reported on August 9, 2024, that the revised PET window was August 22 to September 4, 2024. The report concerns the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) recruitment for excise constables. The announced window ended in 2024.

Where can candidates check the PET login?
JSSC’s candidate portal includes a login page labeled for the Physical Eligibility Test. It asks candidates for a registration number, date of birth, and captcha. The accessible page content does not display schedule details, so the login page itself does not verify the dates above.
What the reported date range does—and does not—confirm
The August 22–September 4, 2024 window is the schedule information established by the cited news report. It does not, by itself, establish a candidate’s individual test date or provide details beyond the overall window.
