The Commission’s notice dated 21 August 2024 extended the online application deadline to 31 August. The original Notification No. 04-PSC (DR-P) of 2024, dated 26 July 2024, had set 21 August as the last date to apply. The extension notice kept 21 August as the date for determining eligibility and allowed applicants to edit submitted forms from 1 to 3 September 2024.

No. The deadline for the 2024 examination has passed, and the old application form should not be treated as available. For current JKPSC notices and application navigation for other or future recruitments, use the official JKPSC website. The status of the legacy 2024 application form has not been established.

JKPSC notices show that this recruitment has moved well beyond registration. A 20 March 2025 notice reported 2,768 candidates qualified for the mains examination, including 23 applicants permitted to appear on tribunal directions. In a 2026 notice, JKPSC reported that 31,644 candidates were provisionally allowed to sit the preliminary examination and 19,659 appeared on 23 February 2025. These are later-stage recruitment figures, not details of the August 2024 deadline extension.
