MEXC announced on December 22, 2025, that it was extending 0% maker and taker fees to all Spot pairs. That was the scope of the announcement at the time—not a guarantee that every pair is fee-free today. MEXC later narrowed the offer effective February 1, 2026, and published a further update to selected USDT Spot-pair rates effective September 30, 2026. Check the live rate for the specific pair before trading.
Does MEXC really have zero fees on all Spot pairs?
In its December 22, 2025 announcement, MEXC said it expanded its 0-fee Spot program from selected pairs to all Spot pairs, advertising 0% maker and 0% taker fees. The company said the program had no VIP-tier or asset-holding requirement and no volume limits. Those details describe MEXC’s announcement on that date; they should not be read as a statement of every pair’s current fee.
MEXC framed the change as a way to lower trading costs and support liquidity. Those are the company’s stated aims, not independently established results. MEXC attributed this statement to its Chief Operating Officer, Vugar Usi: “Our decision to institutionalize zero fees and extend them across the entire Spot market reflects a long-term commitment to empowering users across market cycles.”
Are MEXC’s zero Spot fees still active?
The later notices changed the scope described in the December announcement:

- January 28, 2026: MEXC said that, beginning February 1, 2026, at 10:00 UTC, zero-fee treatment would apply only to USDC Spot pairs and selected Spot pairs. Other Spot pairs would be charged standard fees. The notice directed users to the fee page to check pair eligibility.
- September 30, 2026: MEXC published a rate update for selected zones that applies only to USDT Spot pairs. Its table shows changed taker rates for Innovation, Assessment, and MEME+ pairs.
MEXC’s Spot fee page and announcements are the relevant places to check before placing an order. The available notices do not establish the live fee for every pair at the moment an individual trades, and a broad FAQ statement about zero-fee eligibility does not override the later dated changes.
Which MEXC Spot pairs are still zero fee?
The January 2026 notice identifies USDC Spot pairs and selected Spot pairs as eligible for zero fees from February 1, but does not establish a permanent pair-by-pair list in the notice itself. The September 2026 update adds specific changes for selected USDT-pair zones; it is not a universal rate schedule for all Spot pairs.

For a specific trade, look up the exact pair’s current maker and taker rates on MEXC. Eligibility can depend on the pair or zone, and MEXC’s notices give account exclusions as well as pair scope. Do not assume that a zero-fee rate for one market, quote currency, or user applies to another.
What changed for selected USDT Spot-pair zones?
MEXC’s September 30, 2026 update lists these taker-rate changes for USDT Spot pairs in the named zones. The maker rates shown in the same rows remain 0.00%.

MEXC’s zero-fee FAQ and January 2026 notice identify these user categories as ineligible:
- Institutional users
- Market makers
- Project teams
- API users
So “no VIP tier or asset-holding requirement” does not mean the offer applies to every account. Check the current eligibility terms alongside the pair’s displayed rate.

How to check a pair’s fee before trading
- Open MEXC’s current Spot fee page or the trading page for the exact market.
- Confirm the pair, including its quote currency, and check both the maker and taker rates shown.
- Check whether the pair is identified as eligible for zero-fee treatment and whether your account falls within an excluded user category.
- Review the effective date and any applicable zone notice before submitting the order. If the displayed rate and a general FAQ or older announcement differ, rely on the current pair-specific information and confirm with MEXC if the discrepancy remains.
