Customer reports are mixed: some users say it becomes easier with practice, while others describe charging, pumping, leaking-head, or reliability problems. Treat the product specifications as listing claims and reviews as individual experiences—not proof of clinical effectiveness or typical reliability.
What Miracle Smile is and what the listing includes
Target describes Miracle Smile as a compact, cordless, rechargeable, water-resistant water flosser with three adjustable pressure settings. The listed package includes the device, an H-shaped flossing head, a USB charging cable, and an instruction booklet. These are retailer-listed specifications, not independent verification of performance. Target’s product page
What customer reviews report
Woot displays syndicated excerpts from Amazon reviews for the Ontel Miracle Smile Water Flosser. On October 8, 2026, the page showed approximately 3.5 out of 5 stars from roughly 4,500 reviews. That is a dated platform snapshot, not a representative reliability study or measure of cleaning effectiveness. Woot’s review page
Positive experiences and adjustment
Some reviewers describe convenience or a clean feeling, while noting that using the device takes practice. Lidia’s review reproduced on Target says, “It takes getting used to.” A verified Amazon-purchase excerpt by Daryl Hoffman on Woot says it “works well, but takes time getting used to compared to a normal water pik.” These are individual experiences, not evidence that every user will find it comfortable or effective. Problems reported by some owners
Amazon-purchase excerpts on Woot include reports of a unit that would not charge, a pump that did not deliver water, leaking heads, and unexpected activation. Kevin H.’s verified-purchase review, dated September 18, 2026, is titled “Poor Quality Control”; JZ’s verified-purchase review, dated June 7, 2026, is titled “Stopped charging!” These complaints are signals to consider, but they do not establish how often failures occur. Woot’s review page
The Better Business Bureau page also includes a dated customer report of failure to recharge and another report of unexpected activation. It shows Ontel responding to individual complaints, including an offer of replacement in one exchange. BBB says it does not verify the accuracy of third-party profile information, so these are complaint reports, not adjudicated findings. BBB’s Ontel page

Does Miracle Smile work?
If “work” means operate as a water flosser, the retailer listing describes a rechargeable device intended to direct water through an H-shaped head, with three pressure settings. If “work” means proven cleaning performance, the available sources do not establish that independently. They provide no product-specific independent test demonstrating efficacy, a plaque-removal percentage, or superiority over other flossers. Reviews can illuminate handling and ownership experiences, but cannot settle clinical effectiveness. Target’s product page; Woot’s review page
A TechTimes page dated December 16, 2025, makes strong claims about effectiveness and says the device meets FDA standards, while also using discount-focused calls to action. The page does not provide independent substantiation sufficient to repeat those claims as fact. The available evidence therefore does not support calling Miracle Smile FDA-cleared, clinically endorsed, or proven to deliver a specific efficacy result. TechTimes article
