IC Funded offers paid trading evaluations that may lead to a simulated funded account—not a conventional brokerage account with live capital. The company says all trading takes place in demo accounts and that it does not execute trades in real markets or hold client funds. Whether its program suits you depends on the particular plan’s rules, your ability to stay within its drawdown limits, and whether you are willing to pay for an evaluation with no guaranteed outcome.
What IC Funded offers—and what “funded” means
IC Funded sells access to trading evaluations and account programs. According to its FAQ, trading during both evaluation and funded stages takes place in a simulated environment. The company states: “IC Funded is not a broker and does not hold client deposits.” Its website disclosure adds that accounts are demo accounts and do not involve real-market execution, real capital, or custody of client funds.
That distinction matters: “funded” describes the program’s account arrangement, not a live brokerage balance placed in your name. IC Funded says it offers MT5 and cTrader at no additional cost, but platform access does not change the simulated nature of the trading.
How the three routes compare
IC Funded’s current pages describe 1-Step Accelerated, 2-Step Professional, and Instant Funding. The table uses figures published on the company’s pricing page and how-it-works page, accessed in 2026. Terms and displayed prices can change. A percentage target alone does not show how a plan measures losses or what restrictions apply.

| Route | Targets and drawdown | Evaluation time and days | Fee and profit share |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Accelerated | 10% target; 3% daily drawdown; 6% maximum drawdown, per IC Funded’s how-it-works page | No evaluation time limit; the cited how-it-works page does not state a minimum active-day count | Account-size-specific fee not stated here; standard share and add-on terms are listed on the pricing page |
| 2-Step Professional | For the displayed example: 10% first-phase target, 5% second-phase target; 5% daily drawdown in each displayed phase and funded stage; 10% maximum drawdown | No evaluation time limit; three active days in each evaluation phase in the displayed pricing table | $74 one-time fee for the displayed $5,000 challenge; 80% standard funded profit share, with selected add-ons advertised up to 90% |
| Instant Funding | No evaluation target; 3% daily drawdown measured from the previous end-of-day balance and 5% maximum drawdown measured from the highest end-of-day balance | No evaluation phase; the cited how-it-works page does not specify a minimum trading-day count | Account-size-specific fee not stated here; 80% profit share displayed |
The 2-Step example’s $74 fee and rules are for the specific $5,000 challenge displayed by IC Funded, not a universal price or promise of a payout. The difference between “daily” and “maximum” drawdown—and the reference balance used to measure each—can determine whether a trade breaches the rules. Read the selected account’s complete current rule set before paying.
Rules that affect trading and payouts
Drawdown and targets
For the displayed 2-Step Professional challenge, the pricing table lists a 5% daily drawdown in both evaluation phases and the funded stage, with a 10% maximum drawdown. For 1-Step Accelerated, the how-it-works page gives a 3% daily limit and a 6% maximum limit. Instant Funding’s daily limit is measured from the previous end-of-day balance, while its maximum limit is measured from the highest end-of-day balance. Those measurement methods are not interchangeable. Check the plan page for the exact breach calculations and any additional rules.
News and weekend positions
On the displayed 2-Step Professional plan, IC Funded lists news trading as allowed during both evaluation phases. In the funded stage, news trading is restricted within ±3 minutes. Weekend holding is listed as not allowed in the evaluation phases or funded stage. These are plan-specific published terms; confirm the rules for the precise account you intend to choose.

Leverage
IC Funded’s pricing page lists maximum leverage of up to 1:50 for forex, 1:20 for indices, metals, and energies, and 1:2 for crypto. These are maximums, not a recommendation to use that leverage or an indication of the risk of a particular position.

First and later payouts
For the displayed 2-Step Professional plan, the first funded payout requires five profitable days and at least 14 calendar days. The table defines a profitable day as one with at least 0.5% of the starting balance. The second payout requires three profitable days and 14 calendar days; the third and later payouts require 14 calendar days, with no minimum profitable-day count stated in the table. IC Funded’s high-level page says eligible payouts can be requested every 14 days, but the plan-specific conditions determine eligibility.
The pricing page lists an 80% standard profit share, with selected add-ons raising the share for 1-Step and 2-Step plans up to 90%. It also says the fee is refunded after the third payout. Treat the higher split and refund as conditional terms, not the default result of buying a challenge.

Evaluation, verification, and account limits
IC Funded says its evaluation phases have no time limit. Its process page describes completing the applicable evaluation and verification requirements before receiving account credentials, while the homepage presents KYC as part of unlocking funded access. The exact steps can depend on the route and current terms.
The FAQ says traders may hold multiple funded accounts, subject to its rules and prohibited-practice restrictions, up to a maximum total allocation of $500,000 per trader. This is an allocation limit for the program; it is not $500,000 in live capital deposited for you.

What the published payout examples do—and do not—show
IC Funded’s homepage displays selected payout certificate examples, including $64,632.74 dated 23 September 2024, $1,275.00 dated 8 April 2026, and $707.03 dated 3 April 2026. These are company-published illustrations. The reviewed official pages do not establish representative evaluation pass rates, typical payout outcomes, or independent verification of those examples. They cannot tell you the odds of passing or what a typical participant receives.

Who may find the program worth considering
IC Funded may be worth comparing if you understand that the trading is simulated, have reviewed the exact limits and restrictions for a chosen route, and are comfortable risking the evaluation fee without assuming you will pass or receive a payout. It is a poor fit if you are seeking a live brokerage account, need access to deposited capital, or would treat marketing examples as evidence of likely earnings.
Before paying, use this checklist:
- Identify the exact route and account size, then confirm its current fee.
- Read how daily and maximum drawdown are calculated, including the balance or equity reference point.
- Check targets, active or profitable-day requirements, payout intervals, and refund conditions.
- Confirm news, weekend, leverage, verification, and prohibited-practice rules for that plan.
- Decide whether the fee is affordable to lose; the evaluation does not guarantee account access or profit.
IC Funded’s terms, fees, and plan details are vendor-published information and may change. The company says its content is educational and not financial or trading advice; participation should not be treated as an investment or a promise of earnings.
