ICAI issued a revised timetable on 10 May 2025 for specified CA Final, Intermediate and International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT-AT) papers originally due between 9 and 14 May. The replacement dates ran from 16 to 24 May; examination centres and timings stayed the same, and already issued admit cards remained valid. The announcement is historical: these exams have passed.

Revised ICAI CA May 2025 exam dates

The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) published the replacement timetable on 10 May 2025. The table shows the originally notified date and the revised date for each affected paper.

ICAI’s 10 May 2025 revised schedule announcement lists the replacement dates and says the rescheduled papers would be held at the same examination centres and timings as previously notified. The stated sessions were 2 p.m.–5 p.m. IST, or 2 p.m.–6 p.m. IST where marked with an asterisk in the notice.

Were previously issued ICAI admit cards still valid?

Yes. ICAI stated that admit cards already issued would remain valid for the rescheduled dates. Candidates for the affected papers did not need a replacement admit card under this announcement. The validity statement applied to those rescheduled May 2025 examinations.

Did ICAI change exam centres or timings?

No. The notice specified that the affected examinations would take place at the same centres and timings. Candidates were to use the centre and session information on their existing examination arrangements, subject to the revised paper dates above.

What happened to the Foundation exam dates?

The May 2025 Foundation examinations were not included in the postponement. ICAI kept them scheduled for 15, 17, 19 and 21 May 2025, as set out in its revised schedule notice.

Why were the papers postponed?

On 8 May 2025, ICAI postponed the remaining Final, Intermediate and INTT-AT papers scheduled from 9 to 14 May, citing the tense and security situation and saying replacement dates would follow. Its 8 May postponement announcement was followed by the revised timetable on 10 May, which referred to favourable developments in the security situation.

Holiday provision in the notice

ICAI’s revised notice said an examination date would not change if it was declared a Central Government, State Government or local holiday. This was the notice’s stated holiday provision for the listed examinations.

The dates and admit-card statement above concern the May 2025 session only. For a later or current sitting, check ICAI’s current examination announcements rather than relying on this historical timetable.
