The notification described the planned examination window this way: “The online examinations for the next Common Recruitment Process for RRBs (CRP RRBs XII) for recruitment of Group “A”-Officers (Scale-I, II & III) and Group “B”-Office Assistant (Multipurpose) will be conducted by the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) tentatively in August and September 2023.” These dates were tentative, not a guarantee of the eventual schedule.

That is a secondary-source figure; the detailed official vacancy annex is not available here for verification. How provisional allotment worked
