Applications for Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 are closed. The online window ran from 11:00 a.m. on 8 July 2024 to 11:00 p.m. on 28 July 2024; the notice said not to expect an extension. The title’s “apply from July 8” refers to 2024, not a current opening. Check the Central Airmen Selection Board (CASB) portal for any newer intake, correction or candidate-specific update.
What the 02/2025 notification announced
The Indian Air Force invited unmarried Indian men and women to apply online for Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 under the Agnipath Scheme. The notice described a four-year engagement. It also made clear that this selection test was not for commissioned officers, pilots, navigators or airmen. The number of women selected and their employability were to be decided according to service requirements.
The notification listed online examinations from 18 October 2024 onwards. Those dates are historical; candidates should use CASB’s current portal rather than treating the old schedule as a live recruitment calendar.
Who was eligible under this notice
Age and marital conditions
For this intake only, the notification specified a date-of-birth range from 3 July 2004 through 3 January 2008, inclusive. Candidates who cleared the selection stages also had to be no older than 21 on the enrollment date. Candidates had to be unmarried at enrollment and provide a four-year undertaking concerning marriage. These dates and terms should not be assumed to apply to another intake.

The notice also set conditions concerning pregnancy for female candidates. Because these are sensitive, intake-specific rules, applicants should consult the original notification for the exact wording and applicable circumstances rather than relying on a summary.
Education requirements
The notification provided separate qualification routes. In broad terms, the routes and minimum marks were:

Medical, height and other standards
The notice also specified medical standards, height requirements and other eligibility conditions, including some regional height exceptions. Medical eligibility cannot be reduced to one height or health figure; consult the notification for the criterion relevant to you and CASB for current information.

How selection was structured
Phase I online test
Phase I was an objective online examination. Questions were bilingual in English and Hindi except in the English paper. For Science Subjects, the listed subjects were Physics, Mathematics and English, based on the 10+2 CBSE syllabus. The notice said normalized marks would be used for shortlisting and that candidates had to qualify each paper individually.
Further assessment and medical examination
Shortlisted candidates proceeded through Phase II assessment, physical fitness and adaptability testing, and a Phase III medical examination. The notice advised candidates to bring sports shoes and shorts or track pants for the relevant testing; it did not require a particular brand or training program.
The notification directed candidates to the CASB portal for detailed syllabus, model question papers, results and corrigenda. For preparation, start with the official material rather than assuming that an outside guide is necessary.
What the selection lists did—and did not—mean
The notice set planned dates in 2025 for a provisional select list and an enrollment list. Inclusion in a provisional list did not guarantee enrollment: the notice made enrollment subject to merit, medical fitness, vacancies, age and the stated criteria. These were the notification’s planned terms; check CASB for actual postings and candidate-specific status.
Use official sources and avoid recruitment scams
Applications for this intake were to be submitted online at agnipathvayu.cdac.in. For subsequent notices and official updates, consult the CASB portal and the original Indian Air Force Agniveervayu Intake 02/2025 notification. A government district administration also published a notice about the Agniveervayu post.
The Indian Air Force notification warns against recruitment agents and says no bribe is required. Its stated warning is: “SELECTION IN THE INDIAN AIR FORCE IS ‘FAIR & TRANSPARENT’ AND ON MERIT ONLY.” It further says: “AT NO STAGE ANY BRIBE IS REQUIRED TO BE PAID TO ANYONE FOR SELECTION OR RECRUITMENT IN THE INDIAN AIR FORCE.”
Checking a later Agniveervayu intake
Do not carry 02/2025 requirements forward to a newer notice. Compare the new notification’s application window, date-of-birth block, education route, syllabus and selection stages, and medical and physical standards. A changed intake can change any of those rules.
