New applications for IBPS Clerk recruitment—officially called Customer Service Associate (CSA)—are no longer being accepted for the 2026 cycle, CSA-XVI. Registration and fee payment closed on 28 August 2026. If you already registered, use the official IBPS CSA-XVI page for call-letter materials and further notices; preliminary exam call-letter materials were listed there on 1 October.
IBPS Clerk application status: the CSA-XVI window is closed
The published registration and online fee-payment period ran from 1 through 28 August 2026. Candidates cannot submit a new application through that window now. IBPS uses the name Customer Service Associate (CSA) for this recruitment; the current cycle is CSA-XVI.

What to do if you already registered
- Open the official CSA-XVI recruitment page. Check its current notices and call-letter links rather than relying on an older announcement. Preliminary exam call-letter materials were listed on 1 October 2026.
- Follow the current notice for your exam arrangements. Use IBPS instructions for the applicable call letter and any updates; dates on the annual calendar are tentative.
- Prepare using the CSA-XVI notification. The prior CSA-XV notification describes an online preliminary exam followed by an online main exam, but it is not a substitute for the current cycle’s eligibility rules, exam pattern or syllabus. Consult CSA-XVI materials for those details.
What the dates mean for applicants
The application edit period ended on 5 September, and the portal’s stated final date to print an application was 23 September 2026. Those dates are also past. If you need to confirm what applies to your registration or locate an available document, check the official CSA-XVI page for current instructions; the published dates do not establish that late applications or edits are available.
IBPS’s 2026–27 calendar places the preliminary exam on 10–11 October and the main exam on 27 December 2026, both on a tentative basis. Check the official page for any revised schedule or examination notice.
